PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a resin-layer coated toner having good coating quality in a high yield by stably discharging a gasified liquid to the outside of a powder passage to maintain a fluidized state of toner material particles and coating material particles, in the toner manufacturing method including a step for spraying the liquid plasticizing the toner material particles and the coating material particles toward these particles in a fluidized state from a spraying means by a carrier gas and gasifying the liquid. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the resin-layer coated toner uses a rotary stirring apparatus 201 having a circulating means, a temperature regulating means, the spraying means 203, and a discharging means. The carrier gas is circulated in the powder passage 250, and the carrier gas including the gasified liquid is continuously discharged to the outside of the power passage through the discharging means. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a toner by which the adhesion of toner base particles to an inner wall of an apparatus and the generation of an aggregate are suppressed, so that a toner in which a toner base particle surface is uniformly coated with resin fine particles can be produced in a high yield. SOLUTION: The method for producing a toner uses a rotation stirring device provided with at least a circulation means, a temperature regulating means and a spray means comprising a two-fluid nozzle 230. The two-fluid nozzle 230 includes a liquid tube 231 and an air tube 232, wherein the liquid tube 231 is coaxially inserted in the air tube 232, and the liquid tube 231 and the air tube 232 are at least partly fixed so that the centers of the tubes are not dislocated. In a powder passage, the temperature is regulated, and while circulating toner base particles and resin fine particles, a liquid for assisting adhesion is sprayed at a fixed velocity from the two-fluid nozzle 230 to form a film on a toner base particle surface. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: in an environment in which a two-component developer is subjected to thermal and mechanical stress with time and in the main unit of a copying machine, fluidity of the developer deteriorates significantly and density unevenness of an output image occurs; and in printing on many sheets, the fluidity of the developer deteriorates, density unevenness due to insufficient conveyance occurs and an obtained output image degrades significantly. SOLUTION: There is provided an electrophotographic two-component developer satisfying an expression (1): 10.4≤log((C/B)/(A×T))≤17.9, wherein A represents the wax material content (wt.%) of a toner therein; T represents toner concentration (wt.%) of the two-component developer; B represents volume resistance (Ωcm) of a carrier core material; and C represents a volume resistance (Ωcm) of a carrier. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier capable of improving stability of charging amount of toner and capable of maintaining high quality image formation for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The carrier 1 includes a cover layer 3 on the surface of core material 2, wherein a shape factor (SF-1) of the core material 2 is ≥119, a proportion of the shape factor of the core material after forming the cover layer 3 to the shape factor of the core material 2 is in the range of ≥90% to ≤100%, a bridge resistance value upon agitation test is lowered by a change amount in the range of 0 to ≤1/10 with respect to the initial value under an electric field of 1,000 V/cm and, as the result, the high quality image formation can be maintained over a long period of time. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a capsule toner capable of preventing contamination of a fixing roller caused by cold offset and hot offset partially occurring, and to provide a toner obtained by the method and a two-component developer containing the toner and a carrier.SOLUTION: The production method of a capsule toner includes steps of: mixing, melting, and kneading a toner material containing at least a binder resin, a colorant, a charge controlling agent, and a first release agent to obtain a kneaded material, and subsequently cooling, solidifying, and pulverizing the kneaded material to form toner base particles; and depositing mixed resin fine particles containing resin fine particles and a second release agent having a melting point lower than that of the first release agent by 10 to 30°C on the surfaces of the toner base particles to obtain composite toner particles, and forming films of the mixed resin fine particles to form a capsule toner in which the surface of the toner base particle is coated with a resin layer comprising the mixed resin fine particles.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a capsule toner, by which a capsule toner having a release agent layer and a resin coating layer successively formed on the surface of a toner base particle in which bleed out of the release agent is prevented and aggregation does not occur, can be produced with superior productivity, and to provide a toner obtained by the method, and a two-component developer containing the toner and a carrier.SOLUTION: The production method of a capsule toner comprises steps of: forming release agent-coated toner particles having a release agent layer comprising release agent particles on the surface of the toner base particle; forming composite toner particles comprising the release agent-coated toner particles and resin fine particles adhering to the surfaces of the toner particles; and forming a capsule toner comprising the release agent-coated toner particles the surface of which are coated with resin fine particles, by subjecting the composite toner particles to a stirring treatment while spraying a volatile liquid to the surfaces of the composite toner particles under the condition of a temperature equal to or lower than the glass transition temperature of the binder resin in the toner base particles and equal to or lower than the on-set temperature of the release agent particles.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a capsule toner having a release agent layer on the surface of a toner base particle and further having a resin coating layer outside the release agent layer, having excellent blocking resistance, suppressing occurrence of high temperature offset and having a wide fixable temperature range, and to provide a capsule toner and a developer. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a capsule toner includes: a step of forming release agent-coated toner base particles having a release agent layer on the surface of a toner base particle, by imparting mechanical impact force to toner base particles in a fluidized state while spraying a release agent solution prepared by dissolving the release agent in a solvent; and a step of forming a resin coating layer on the surface of the release agent-coated toner base particle by fluidizing the release agent-coated toner base particles and resin fine particles and imparting mechanical impact force to the fluidized particles.
