PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a capsule toner excellent in thermal durability.SOLUTION: The production method of a capsule toner comprises: (a) fluidizing resin fine particles and toner base particles in a powder flow passage of a rotary stirring device equipped with rotary stirring means and temperature adjusting means in the presence of a heat-absorbing agent so as to produce resin fine particle-fixed toner having the resin fine particles applied and fixed to the surfaces of the toner base particles; (b) spraying a volatile plasticizer to the resin fine particle-fixed toner in a fluidized state to plasticize the resin fine particle-fixed toner; and (c) adding an impact to the resin fine particle-fixed toner by the rotary stirring means so as to convert the resin fine particles into a film on the surfaces of the toner base particles.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a capsule toner by which production of coarse powder can be suppressed and a resin coating layer having uniform layer thickness can be formed, and to provide a capsule toner and a developer.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the capsule toner includes a resin fine particle preparing step, an adhering step, a spraying step and a film-forming step. In the resin fine particle preparing step, dried resin fine particles are obtained by injecting the dispersion liquid of resin fine particles into the atmosphere of shock waves by pulse combustion so as to volatilize the dispersion medium in the resin fine particle dispersion liquid. In the adhering step, toner base particles with adhered resin fine particles are obtained by stirring and mixing toner base particles and the resin fine particles to adhere the resin fine particles to the surfaces of the toner base particles. In the spraying step, a spray liquid is sprayed to the toner base particles with adhered resin fine particles while stirring. In the film-forming step, a resin coating layer is formed on the surface of the toner base particle by continuing stirring until the resin fine particles on the surfaces of the toner base particles with adhered resin fine particles are softened to form a film.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that does not generate desorbed fine particles causing an image defect, do not damage the fixability, and strike the balance between high transferability and high cleanability; and to provide a method of manufacturing the toner. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing toner includes: a step of sticking resin fine particles having a volume average particle size of 5% or larger and 17% or smaller of the volume average particle size of toner mother particles, to the toner mother particle surfaces; and a step of plasticizing the toner mother particles and the resin fine particles by applying a mechanical impact force while spraying the lower alcohol, fusing the resin fine particles to the toner mother particle surfaces, and forming a plurality of projections formed of the resin fine particles on the toner mother particle surfaces. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing toner superior in charging start characteristics and stability of a charge amount over time, and to provide toner and a two-component developer. SOLUTION: The method for producing resin-coated toner uses a rotary stirring device including: a circulating means which repeatedly circulates toner base particles and fine resin particles in a powder flow passage by a rotary stirring means; a temperature adjustment means which adjusts the inside of the powder flow passage and the rotary stirring means to a prescribed temperature; and a spraying means which sprays a liquid for assisting adhesion between the toner base particles and the fine resin particles. A liquid agent having a charge control agent dissolved in the liquid is sprayed into the powder flow passage at a fixed speed while the toner base particles and the fine resin particles are stirred and circulated in the temperature-adjusted powder flow passage, whereby a resin layer containing the fine resin particles and the charge control agent is formed on surfaces of the toner base particles. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a toner by which a resin fine particle layer having a uniform layer thickness is formed on the surface of toner mother particles and adhesion of the toner mother particles and resin fine particles to an inner wall surface of a toner manufacturing device is suppressed, to provide the toner obtained by the method, to provide a one-component developer, to provide a two-component developer, to provide a developing device and to provide an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The toner manufacturing device 201 includes a powder flow passage 202, a spray part 203 spraying prescribed substance in the powder flow passage 202 and a rotationally stirring part 204 provided in the powder flow passage 202 and stirring particles in the powder flow passage 202 and applying impact power to the particles to make the particles flow in the powder flow passage 202. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: toner, having favorable fixability to achieve uniform exudation of a core in fixing even in the case of a capsule toner whose core surface is coated with a shell having higher flow tester softening temperature and glass transition temperature than the core to improve storage stability; a method of manufacturing the toner; a developer; a developing device; and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The toner includes: a core part containing at least resin; and a shell part including at least resin having a glass transition temperature higher than the glass transition temperature of resin contained in the core part. The toner is a capsule toner in which a plurality of holes penetrating to the surface of the core part are formed in the shell part. In the toner, exposure percentage of the core part ranges from 10 to 30%. In the toner, an orthogonal projection circle equivalent diameter of the exposed surface of the core part is within the range of 5-20%. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the toner covers shell particles on the surface of core particles to obtain the toner having the core-shell structure, by using a stirring means 200 provided with a container 202 which is formed in the form of a hollow cylinder and a relatively rotatable stirring blade 201 for the container 202, by being arranged to have a gap G with an inner wall face of the container 202 on a hollow region of the container 202 in a covering process. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a toner in which constituting materials in the toner are uniformly and highly dispersed, and the particle shape is uniformed with a narrow particle size distribution width. SOLUTION: In a melting and kneading step, at least a binder resin and a coloring agent are melted and kneaded to obtain a melt kneaded product. In a melt kneaded product particle dispersion step, the melt kneaded product is pulverized at a temperature higher by 50-100°C than its softening temperature by use of a high-pressure homogenizer, and melt kneaded product particles with a volume average particle size of 0.1-0.4 μm are dispersed in a liquid medium. In a coagulation step, the melt kneaded product particles contained in the slurry of the melt kneaded product particles are coagulated while raising the temperature at a rate of 0.5-4.0°C/min.
