Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing composition which can be easily deposited onto fuel cell layers or substrates by using a decal transfer or syringe dispensing technique.SOLUTION: A sealing glass composition including about 30-95 wt.% glass or ceramic particles, and about 1-50 wt.% organic vehicle, wherein the organic vehicle comprises an acrylic resin component and a solvent, based upon 100% total weight of the sealing glass composition, wherein the composition has a viscosity of at least about 200 kcPs and no more than about 1,450 kcPs, is provided. Furthermore, a method of applying a sealing glass composition to a substrate comprises the steps of: providing a metal substrate; providing a supporting sheet having a front surface coated with a releasing agent; depositing a sealing glass composition onto the front surface of the releasable sheet according to a pre-determined pattern, and then drying the sealing glass composition to form a sealing glass composition decal; removing the sealing glass composition decal from the front surface of the supporting sheet; and placing the dried sealing glass composition decal onto a metal substrate.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous dispersant excellent in dispersibility and dispersion stability and capable of forming a resin layer excellent in hydrolysis resistance and a coloring material dispersion and a colored resin composition each using the nonaqueous dispersant.SOLUTION: There is provided a nonaqueous dispersant characterized by being a polymer comprising at least structural units represented by general formula (1), wherein at least part of the nitrogen moieties contained in the structural units and an acidic organophosphorus compound forms a salt, and the acidic organophosphorus compound contains at least one member selected from the group consisting of an organophosphonic monoester compound composed of an organophosphonic acid and a monofunctional epoxy compound or a monofunctional oxetane compound added thereto. In general formula (I), R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, A is a direct bond or a divalent linking group, and Q is a group represented by general formula (1-a) or an optionally substituted nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group capable of forming a salt with an acid.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement composition prepared from a dry mix formulation, for controlling inappropriate abrasion resistance, surface appearance and cement hardening and improving color failure while having superior overall bonding strength and adhesion.SOLUTION: There is provided a redispersible polymer powder composition which includes a polyglycol in admixture with a redispersible polymer powder (RDP). The powder includes a codried mixture of a carboxylated, water insoluble film-forming styrene butadiene polymer and a colloidal stabilizer, and results in unexpectedly superior overall bonding strength and adhesion after water immersion.
