Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ubidecarenone-containing composition excellent in storage stability, and to provide a method for stabilizing the ubidecarenone in the composition. SOLUTION: The method for stabilizing the ubidecarenone composition comprises allowing ubidecarenone, a triglyceride of a medium chain length fatty acid, and a fatty acid ester of propylene glycol to coexist. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for diet, which has excellent diet effect and obesity preventing effect and is highly safe, a diet agent and a food and a beverage containing the composition. SOLUTION: The composition for diet comprises 0.0001-50 mass% of coenzyme Q 10 and 0.005-50 mass% of a fat combustion promotion substance selected from a diacylglycerol, conjugated linoleic acid, capsaicin, L-carnitine, Garcinia extract, an amino acid and a catechin in an amount for effectively burning accumulated fats such as body fat. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic agent for hypercholesterolemia having LXR (liver X receptor) agonistic actions and antihypercholesterolemic and antiarteriosclerotic actions without causing hypertriglyceridemia. SOLUTION: The therapeutic agent for the hypercholesterolemia comprises a compound represented by general formula (I) (wherein, R 1 and R 2 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a 1-6C alkyl group or a hydroxymethyl group; R 3 is a hydrogen atom or a hydroxy group; and the dotted lines denote each a double bond or a single bond) or its prodrug. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coenzyme Q 10 -containing composition usable as a raw material for food, drink, medicine or feed where coenzyme Q 10 is stably contained regardless of existence of vitamins therein. SOLUTION: The coenzyme Q 10 -containing composition is obtained by adding inorganic metallic salt, preferably inorganic metallic salt and organic acid to a system where coenzyme Q 10 and vitamins are present. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sustained-release tablet having excellent sustained releasability and sufficient hardness and exhibiting sufficiently high strength to resist the breakage during production, packaging, transportation, storage, etc., even by reducing the size of the tablet. SOLUTION: The small-sized sustained-release tablet easily takable by a patient by oral administration is produced by the compression molding of particles containing a pharmaceutical component and having sustained releasability, an antistatic agent and an excipient.
