摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease temperature difference between temperature of a slab end face at a charge side and that of the slab end face at an extraction side within a specified temperature by installing a radiation shielding heat resistant material on a lower furnace wall at an extraction side of a walking beam type heating furnace. SOLUTION: Radiation extraction heat quantity of a slab end face at an extraction side of a heating furnace to an extraction side furnace wall is larger than that of the slab end face at a charge side to the extraction side and temperature decrease at the slab end face at the extraction side starts earlier, and magnitude of the temperature decrease becomes large, and therefore, a radiation shielding wall 7 using a radiation shielding heat resistant material of a shape corresponding to a lower furnace wall 3 is erected at a position in proximity to an inner face side of the lower furnace wall 3 at the extraction side of the heating furnace. Furthermore, a fiber thermal insulation material 8 is stuck as a radiation shielding on an upper side wall 3' at the extraction side. 摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating furnace which can uniformly heat-harden the paste coated on the surfaces of the base plate, can produce base plates of high quality with its installation area reduced. SOLUTION: A glass base plate 12 coated with a sealing agent is conveyed in from the opening 9 between partition walls and placed on the lifting pins 15. These lifting pins 15 allows the base plate 12 to go down near the hot plate 16 and the base plate is preheated with infrared rays of the radiation from the heated plate 16, further, passing through the base plate and reflected with the mirror face on the inside surface of the partition wall 8. Then, the lifting pins further go down and the base plate 12 is vacuum-adhered onto the hot plate 16 and mainly heated with the hot plate 16. Then, the lifting pins rise up to the original position of the base plate 12. There, a nitrogen gas is blown from the nozzles of the air-feeding tubes 23 to the surface of the base plate to accelerate the cooling of the base plate. After cooling, the base plate 12 is taken out of the opening 9.

摘要: PURPOSE:To stabilize the setting of baking condition and improve the accuracy of baking by a method wherein the inflow of combustion gas from a baking zone into a cooling zone and the inflow of cooling air from the cooling zone into the baking zone are judged by an oxygen concentration, detected by an oxygen concentration detector provided in the shock absorbing zone of the cooling zone, to control forced ventilation air from a forced ventilation fan toward the baking zone. CONSTITUTION:An oxygen concentration detector 13 is arranged in a the side of shock absorbing zone 42, constituting the side of the baking zone 2 of a quick cooling section 4, to detect an oxygen concentration in a furnace. The detecting signal thereof is sent into an oxygen concentration measuring instrument 14 to compare the oxygen concentration with a set value. When the measured value has become lower than the set value, a signal is transmitted from the oxygen concentration measuring instrument 14 into the number of rotation controller of a forced ventilation fan 21 to increase the number of rotation of the forced ventilation fan 21 and increase the inside pressure of the cooling zone 3, thereby precluding the inflow of combustion gas into the cooling zone 3. On the contrary, when the measured value has become higher than the set value, the number of rotations of the forced ventilation fan 21 is reduced.
