    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition useful for producing FRP, providing molded articles having extremely improved surface smoothness, dimensional stability (low warpage) and hot water resistance, comprising a specific dicyclopentadiene oligomer and a vinyl polymerizable monomer.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the lens having high oxygen permeability and excellent contamination resistance and durability by incorporating a specific 1-butene-2, 3, 4-tricarbonic triester copolymer into the contact lens. CONSTITUTION:The copolymer formed by copolymerizing 2 to 95wt.% 1 or >=2 kinds of the 1-butene-2, 3, 4-tricarbonic triester monomers expressed by general formula I (where R1, R2, R3 are the same or different groups and denote a hydrogen atom, 1 to 12C alkyl group, 1 to 12C alkenyl group, 3 to 12C cyclic alkyl group or formula II; X, Y, Z are the same or different groups and denote a methyl group, formula III to formula VII; (m), (n) and (l) denote 0 or 1; (p), (q) and (r) denote integers from 0 to 3; (k) denotes an integer from 2 to 4 integer) as essential raw material monomers is incorporated into the contact lens.

CONSTITUTION:The copolymer contg. 2 to 95wt.% unsatd. dicarboxylate monomer expressed by formula I as the essential raw material monomer is incorporated into the lens. In the formula I, R1, R2 denote a hydrogen atom, 1 to 12C alkyl group, 1 to 12C alkenyl group, 3 to 12C cyclic alkyl group, etc.; X to Z denote a methyl group, the compd. expressed by formula II, etc.; m denotes 0 or 1; n denotes 0 to 3 integer; l denotes 2 to 4 integer. The oxygen permeability is enhanced in this way and the deposition of protein, lipid and inorg. matter, etc., on the surface is prevented in this way.

CONSTITUTION:The copolymer contg. 2 to 95wt.% unsatd. dicarboxylate monomer expressed by formula I as the essential raw material monomer is incorporated into the lens. In the formula I, R1, R2 are groups, at least one of which is a group contg. a fluorine atom and denote a hydrogen atom, 1 to 12C alkyl group, 1 to 12C alkenyl group, 3 to 12C cyclic alkyl group or aryl group; n and m respectively denote 0 to 4 integers. The oxygen permeability is enhanced in this way and the deposition of protein, lipid and inorg. matter, etc., on the surface is prevented in this way.

CONSTITUTION:The lens is formed by polymerizing the monomer components contg. the silicon-contg. compd. A expressed by general formula I (where R1 denotes a hydrogen atom or methyl group; X1 and X2 denote a methyl group; l denotes 0 or 1; m denotes 1 to 3; n and p are 0 to 3), the fluorine compd. B expressed by general formula II and the radical polymerizable vinyl monomer. In the general formula II, R2 and R3 are the groups which are the same or different; at least one of the groups of R2 and R3 denotes a straight chain or branched fluoroalkyl group expressed by -ChHkF2h+1-k; h denotes 2 to 18; k denotes (1 to 2)h integer.
