    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the contact lens which has an excellent visual correcting effect, oxygen permeability to allow long-period continuous wearing and excellent shape stability, staining resistance and durability by incorporating a copolymer contg. a specific 1-butene-2, 4-dicarboxylate monomer as an essential raw material monomer into the contact lens. CONSTITUTION:The copolymer contg. 2 to 95wt.% 1-butene-2, 4-dicarboxylate monomer expressed by formula I as the essentially raw material monomer is incorporated into the contact lens. In the formula I, R1 and R2 are groups, at least one of which is a group contg. a fluorine atom, and are hydrogen atom, 1 to 12C alkyl group, 1 to 12C alkenyl group, 3 to 12C cyclic alkyl group or aryl group; n and m respectively denote 0 to 4 integer. The oxygen permeability is enhanced in this way and the deposition of protein, lipid and inorg. materials, etc., on the surface is prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a coating resin which can be directly applied to the surface of a polyolefin resin material and is excellent in adhesion and solvent resistance, comprising a specified copolymer having cyclohexyl groups and specified dicyclopentenyl groups in the molecule. CONSTITUTION:A coating resin comprising a copolymer having cyclohexyl groups and dicyclopentenyl groups in the molecule is obtained by solution- polymerizing 30-99wt% cyclohexyl (meth)acrylate (A), 40-1wt% dicyclopentenyl group-containing vinyl monomer (B) [e.g., dicyclopentenyl (meth)acrylate] and 0-69wt% other vinyl monomers (C) [e.g., (meth)acrylic acid] in an organic solvent (e.g., toluene) in the presence of a polymerization initiator (e.g., azobisisobutyronitrile).

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber laminate with high adhering strength by cross-linking and adhering highly saturated nitrile rubber and acryl rubber.SOLUTION: The rubber laminate is provided by cross-linking and adhering crosslinkable carboxyl group-containing highly saturated nitrile rubber composition (A3) comprising carboxyl group-containing highly saturated nitrile rubber (A1) and polyamine crosslinker (A2) and a crosslinkable carboxyl group-containing acryl rubber composition (B3) comprising carboxyl group-containing acryl rubber (B1) and crosslinker (B2), or crosslinkable epoxy group-containing acryl rubber composition (C3) crosslinkable epoxy group-containing acryl rubber (C1) and a crosslinker (C2).
