Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict oscillation of an oscillator in a width direction without an additional excessive cost in production. SOLUTION: Backing material 21 and a piezoelectric element 25 constitute an ultrasonic transducer array 10, and are bonded with silver paste 27. The side face 25a of the bottom of the piezoelectric element 25 is surrounded with the silver paste 27. In the fabrication of the ultrasonic transducer array 10, a uniform film (about 30 μm, 10-20% of thickness of piezoelectric element 25) of silver paste 27 is formed on the backing material 21 first of all by using squeegee, doctor blade or screen printing method, and a wafer of the piezoelectric element 25 subjected to sub-dice process with an individual electrode formed therein is buried thereon, and the silver paste 27 is hardened. In this way, the side face 25a of the bottom of the piezoelectric element 25 is surrounded with the silver paste 27. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device using an ultrasonic wave facilitating the assembling of an ultrasonic sensor and an elastic member to a case and surely retaining them in prescribed positions. SOLUTION: The device using the ultrasonic wave is provided with a cylindrical elastic holder 2 for pushing the ultrasonic sensor 3 and a bottomed cylindrical part 23 provided in the case 1 to assemble the elastic holder 2 therein. The elastic holder 2 is provided with an elastic lock part 35 locking an elastic end wall formed in a pushing side end and the outside edge of the cylindrical part 27 of the pushed ultrasonic sensor 3, which can facilitate the assembling of the ultrasonic sensor and the elastic member in the prescribed positions. Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily fabricate a probe for an ultrasonic tomographic apparatus without generating the deterioration of capacity and without requiring multiple concentric circle processing, by forming a circular and a ring shaped electrodes so as to cover a large number of vibrators which are provided to a disc shaped piezoelectric material and by forming straight grooves to said piezoelectric material in a crossing state. CONSTITUTION:Crossing straight grooves are provessed to disc shaped piezoelectric ceramic 12 to form vibrator parts 14 in a mozaic pattern. A disc shaped electrode 17a and ring shaped electrodes 17b, 17c, ... concentric to said electrode 17a are provided to the surface of said ceramic 12 to which the grooves are not formed to be adhered to a sound absorbing material 6 while a common earthing electrode 15 is provided to the other surface of the ceramic 12 to form a probe. By this constitution, the probe for an ultrasonic tomographic apparatus which is prevented from the deterioration of capacity and focuses ultrasonic beam to the central point thereof is obtained without subjecting the piezoelectric material to multiple concentric circle processing.
