PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method of a biological sample containing an antibody and an impurity, which strongly binds a protein impurity and excellently removes a host cell protein from the biological sample.SOLUTION: A purification method of a biological sample containing an antibody and an impurity comprises purifying the biological sample by subjecting the biological sample to an affinity chromatography; and then further purifying the biological sample by filling the biological sample into an anion exchange medium equipped with a porous-coating medium having a porous substrate and a porous film on the surface of the porous substrate, where the film contains one or more kinds of crosslinking polymeric primary amine or a copolymer thereof; and collecting this further purified sample.

SOLUTION: A cavity 30 has one or more inlet and output ports to allow a fluid to pass through the filter element 20 inserted into the cavity 30. The filter element 20 preferably has a matable portion which fits within the corresponding matable portion of a housing base 10. An electrically conductive coil 60 is embedded in the housing base 10, circumscribing the cavity 30. A similar coil is also embedded in the filter element. A rapid, efficient and convenient method to detect one or more biological entities on a blotting membrane is provided. The detection can relate to the position, nature or amount of the biological substance on one or more membranes. The invention method involves a pressure assisted regiment (such as vacuum or positive gas pressure) for the supply and removal of reagents and permits washing of the contaminants from substances embedded in the membrane to be detected using very low volumes of liquid. This method enables completion of the blocking, washing and antibody binding steps in about 30 minutes without comprising blot quality. In another aspect, the invention is directed to an apparatus useful in conducting the method of the invention. The device is comprised of several layers including a porous support layer below the blotting membrane(s), a flow distributor above the blotting membrane(s) and a well on the flow distributor to contain the liquid to the desired area and to allow for lower starting volumes of such liquid. Preferably, the flow distributor is a non-binding or low binding hydrophilic porous membrane such as a 0.22 micron membrane.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reserve sterilization capsule capable of being installed on an existing reusable process treatment apparatus or a disposable apparatus, and capable of sterilizing by stationary steaming and the like while reducing environmental exposure. SOLUTION: A cam actuator collar engagement member extending in each radial direction of split ring collar is properly fixed around each split ring collars 60, 60' so as that the same is put in a sliding relation by each inclined grooves 70, 70' in a cam actuator collars 50, 50'. When the cam actuator collar rotates, the cam actuator collar engagement member is loaded on each inclined grooves 70, 70'. At least part of each inclined grooves 70, 70' is inclined with respect to the horizontal direction so as to generate axial direction component when the cam actuator collar engagement member slides in the groove. Consequently, movement length of a plunger in a bore 10 of a body part 4 is limited by using a degree of inclination with respect to a grade and length of the inclined groove.
