Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor that is easy to produce, compact and inexpensive owing to easy injection pressure management of resin.SOLUTION: A cover 2 is attached to a flange portion 1a at one end face of a cylindrical housing 1. A stator 4 is attached radially inward of the housing. A rotor 6 is rotatably retained on an inner circumferential side of the stator. A terminal block 5 is electrically connected to an armature winding 4a of the stator 4 and provided for power supply from without. As to the forming of the terminal block 5, a plurality of bus bars 14U, 14V, 14E, 14N1, 14N2 are stacked up at right angles to a rotary shaft of the motor, and resin insulators 15a, 15b, 15c are arranged between the bus bar layers before being subjected, together with the bus bars, to resin mold forming.

In a first stage of starting the motor, the motor is started by a signal keeping torque constant; in a second stage, the motor is driven by a current feedback signal having a target value which is the sum of the signal keeping torque constant and a signal based on the speed deviation; and in a third stage, the motor is driven by the current feedback signal by a current command signal determined from target values of torque and speed determined by using oil supply information from the higher-level controller.
