PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a power storage device with excellent air permeability and liquid retainability.SOLUTION: A fiber web (for example, a wet-type paper-making web) that is a composite fiber containing a first component including thermosetting resin and a second component including thermosetting resin having a melting point after spinning higher than that of the first component after spinning, and that includes an irregular-sectioned composite fiber having 3 or more and 16 or less projection parts in a lateral cross sectional shape cut on a plane vertical to a longitudinal direction of the composite fiber is heat-treated by a method for heat-treatment in a method for blowing hot wind, so as to obtain nonwoven cloth at least one part of which between constituting fibers is thermally adhered by the first component of the composite fiber. The nonwoven cloth is used as a separator for a power storage device.

The photothermal conversion particle is a particle having a BET specific surface area of in a range of 5-120 m/g and a powder resistance of less than 30 Ω cm, and is contained in the fiber in a dispersed state. The method for producing the regenerated cellulose fiber comprises: preparing an aqueous dispersion liquid of the photothermal conversion particles; mixing the aqueous dispersion liquid with a viscose stock solution containing cellulose to prepare a viscose solution for spinning; extruding the viscose solution for spinning from a nozzle to form a fiber; and coagulating and regenerating the fiber.

The first component 1 includes 60 to 95 mass% of polybutene-1 and 5 to 40 mass% of polypropylene. The second component 2 is a polymer having a melting point at least 20°C higher than that of polybutene-1 by 20°C or more. In a fiber cross section, the first component 1 occupies at least 20% of the surface of the conjugated fiber 10. The first component 1 is arranged in a sheath, and the second component 2 is arranged in a core. The gravity center position 3 of the second component is deviated from the gravity center position 4 of the conjugated fiber. The conjugated fiber 10 has at least one type of crimps selected from wavy crimps and spiral crimps, and has 5% or less of a dry heat shrinkage measured after dry heat treatment at a temperature of 120°C for 15 minutes under an initial load of 0.45 mN/dtex (50 mg/de) according to JIS L 1015.

The metal film material has pores with 100 μmφ to 2000 μmφ in diameter. The nonwoven fabric has at least one surface with projective and recessed portions. The metal film material is integrated with the uneven surface side of the nonwoven fabric. The sheet material for building material of the present invention is especially excellent in moisture permeability because clogging caused by the adhesive hardly occurs on the side and bottom surfaces of the recessed portions of the nonwoven fabric.
