【課題】薄型パネル基板に補助基板を付着して工程を行うことにより、薄型のガラス基板の破損を防止するフラットパネルディスプレイ製造方法、及び同方法により製造されたパネル基板から補助基板を容易に分離することができる基板脱着装置を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の実施形態によれば、補助基板を用いて薄型パネル基板の製造工程を容易に行い、工程が完了した基板に対して、初期ギャップ形成ユニットと、羽根型Oリング(Wing type O-ring)及び複数の真空吸着ラインが形成されたステージを有する全面吸着方式脱着ユニットとから構成される基板脱着装置を用いて、パネル基板から補助基板を容易に分離することができる。【選択図】図2

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array substrate for FFS type liquid crystal display devices, capable of maximizing a numerical aperture and transmissivity, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: An array substrate 100 for an FFS mode liquid crystal display device includes: gate wiring formed in one direction on one surface of an insulating substrate 101; an active layer 110 formed on the upper part of a gate electrode 103 extended from the gate wiring; data wiring 123 having a source electrode 123a formed on one side of the upper part of the active layer; a pixel electrode 113a having a large area and formed on the other side of the upper part of the active layer separated from the source electrode and in a pixel region of the insulating substrate formed by intersecting the gate wiring with the data wiring; a flattening film pattern 117a formed in the upper parts of the data wiring and the source electrode; a passivation film 125 formed on the entire surface of the insulating substrate including the flattening film pattern; and a common electrode 129 formed in the upper part of the passivation film and overlapped with the pixel electrode and the data wiring.
