摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generation agent composition for a pretensioner, capable of reducing the concentration of carbon monoxide in a combustion gas. SOLUTION: This gas generation agent composition for a pretensioner comprises at least two kinds of components selected from the group consisting of (1) at least one kind selected from the group consisting of nitrocellulose(NC), cellulose acetate nitrate(CAN) and cellulose nitrate carboxymethyl ether(CNC), (2) a nitrogen-containing compound except the above compounds and (3) an oxidant. Thus, the composition can reduce carbon monoxide in generated gas.

摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the initial hazardability by the vigor of initial bag expansion and to maintain sufficient crew restrainability by molding gas generating agent compositions formed in a sheet form to a structure in which plural sheets thereof are bonded at their ends and gently initiating combustion in a beginning, then causing vigorous expansion. SOLUTION: The non-azide-base gas generating agent composition which consists of fuel consisting of a nitrogenous compound, such as a guanidine derivative, an oxidizing agent, such as oxygen acid salt, a binder, a slag forming agent, or the like, is molded to a sheet form and is formed to the structure in which plural sheets, preferably two sheets thereof are superposed and are bonded to each other at the ends. This molding is preferably formed to 0.20 to 1.50 in the ratio S/SO of an inside surface area S to an outside surface area SO. This molding is so regulated that the tank pressures after T millisecond, 0.25 T and 0.70 T, in the desired tank maximum pressure P (kPa) attainment time in the tank combustion test by a gas generator respectively attain =0.70 P. As a result, the bag expansion rate is made gentler in an initial period and is then rapidly increased.
