    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly constrain knees of an occupant also when lower limbs of the occupant are close to a glove door when an airbag door includes a lower side door deployed to at least a vehicle lower side. SOLUTION: This airbag door 54 includes an upper side door 54 and the lower side door 54B, and is deployed in the vehicle vertical direction when deployed. In the center at a rear face side of the lower side door 54B, a groove 100 is formed along the vehicle width direction. Thus, when the lower side door 54B is deployed to the vehicle lower side and hits on shanks of the occupant, the lower side door 54B passes through the groove 100 while bending.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure gas cooling performance and mist removing performance in a disk type inflator, and to reduce size and weight of the inflator in the radial direction. SOLUTION: An inflator case 40 is constituted of an upper case 36 arranged on an occupant side and a lower case 38 arranged on an anti-occupant side. In the inflator case 40, a cylindrical holding member 60 having a bottom part constituted of a bulkhead 64 is arranged. A gas flow passage 74 is formed around the holding member 60. A communication hole 80 communicating with the gas flow passage 74 is formed in the bulkhead 64. Dimples 81 are formed on inside surfaces of bottom wall part 38A and inclined part 38B of the lower case 38. Turbulent flows R therefore are generated at forming portions of the dimples 81 when gas flows in the gas flow passage 74.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side airbag system capable of deploying a side airbag forward of a vehicle as a regular deployment direction thereof, without increasing the number of parts. SOLUTION: A plate 58 is joined at a position facing an deployment area of a side airbag 18 at a seat back pad side 24, and a gap 62 is provided between a rear end 58B' and a front bent part 22C of a seat back frame side 22. Thereby, at the initial stage of deployment of the side airbag 18 (prior to burst of a second seamed line 40), a partial part 18C of the side airbag 18 is put inward in the vehicle width direction from the gap 62 and the rear part 58B of the plate 58 is depressed in the direction of arrow mark A. Accordingly, the front part 58A of the plate 58 is extruded in the direction of arrow mark B.     Abstract: It is an object to ensure that, even when knee regions of an occupant are in a near state with respect to a storage section of a knee airbag at the time of a frontal collision of a vehicle, the knee regions can be restrained appropriately by the knee airbag. A knee airbag 14 stored in a folded state in a glove box door 22 (a storage section) receives a supply of a gas at the time of a frontal collision of a vehicle 18 and inflates and deploys toward knee regions 36K of an occupant 36 seated in a front passenger seat 12 (a vehicle seat). At this time, when the knee regions 36K of the occupant 36 are in a near state with respect to the glove box door 22, the gas inside the knee airbag 14 becomes ventable to the outside from a vent hole 16. The vent hole 16 appropriately vents this gas from the inside of the knee airbag 14, and the reaction force of the knee airbag 14 with respect to the knee regions 36K are reduced.
