摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject new compound having excellent insecticidal activity. SOLUTION: This compound is expressed by the formula I [R is a halogen; R is a 1-4C alkyl or a 1-4C haloalkyl; R is H, a (substituted) 1-4C alkyl or a (3-8C cycloalkyl-substiteuted) 1-4C alkoxycarbonyl; R is furyl, thienyl, pyrrole, pyrazolyl, etc.; (n) is 0-2]. The compound can be produced by the dehydration reaction of a compound of the formula II such as 4-chloro-4'- methylmercaptomethylbenzophenone with a compound of the formula III (R is H or a 1-4C alkyl) such as nicotinyl hydrazide in a diluent such as ethanol in the presence of an acid catalyst. The compound exhibits sure controlling effect on noxious insects without causing phytotoxicity to the cultured plant. The insecticidal effect is especially excellent against lepidopterous vermin, coleopterous vermin and soil vermin.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a method for treating a plant by blending an agrochemical active component with a solid, liquid or pasty auxiliary and optionally an excipient, molding the blend into a tablet to give a tableted agrochemical formulation and treating stems or trunk of a plant with the formulation. CONSTITUTION:An adjuvant such as sorbitan monostearate is blended with at least one of agrochemical active ingredients and further optionally an excipient, then molded into a tablet to give a tableted agrochemical formulation. The tableted agrochemical formulation is stuck to stems and truck of a plant to treat the plant. Polyoxyethylene sorbitan tristearate, polyethylene glycol, oleic acid polyethylene glycol ester or polyoxyethylene lanolin may be cited as the adjuvant. 1-(6-Chloro-3-pyridylmethyl)-N-nitro-imidazolidin-2-ylidenamine or N-cyano-N-(2-chloro-5-pyridylmethyl)-N'-methylacetamidine may be used as the agrochemical active ingredient.

As the adjuvant, a fatty acid polyvalent alcohol ester (polyalkylene oxide additive), a polyalkylene oxide fatty acid ester, a polyalkylene oxide lanolin, a sorbitol lanolin derivative, a polysaccharide, a >=8C higher alcohol, etc., are exemplified. The application of this preparation is carried out by coating the surface of a plant body or a cut part of the surface therewith or by making a hole in the surface using a drill, etc., and filling the opened hole therewith. In addition, the application may be carried out by coating the surface with this preparation in advance and winding a band, etc., around the objective plant.
