Preferably, the concentration of the N-methylacetamide in the cryopreservation agent is 3-8%, and the blood cell is hematopoietic stem cell. Further, the method of the cryopreservation of the blood cell includes freezing the blood cell with the cryopreservation agent. The cryopreservation agent is effective for the cryopreservation of the blood cell, and enables the cell to be preserved semipermanently while maintaining the proliferation potency to provide high survival rate after thawing.
