Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment method by means of an induction heating which is high in productivity. SOLUTION: The method for heat treatment of the present invention relates to a method for executing the heat treatment of a metallic plate-like workpiece 32. The plate-like workpiece 32 has a through- hole, and is capable of forming a current path around the circumference of the through-hole. The method for heat treatment includes: a layering step of layering a plurality of workpieces 32 so that the positions of the through-holes are matched with each other; and a heating step of inducing the current in the current path of each workpiece 32 and heating the workpieces 32 by generating the alternating magnetic flux in a core 30 installed so as to pass each through-hole of the plurality of layered workpieces 32. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fingerprint matching device capable of removing static electricity charged in the fingers of a user without making the user especially conscious. SOLUTION: The case of the fingerprint matching device 1 is provided with a semiconductor fingerprint sensor and ten keys 15. A ten key sheet 18 composed of a conductive material is connected through a prescribed resistor to power source ground. When the ten keys 15 are operated by the user, fingerprint information is read and matched. The static electricity charged in the fingers of the user is discharged at the time of operating the ten keys 15.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the whole man hours necessary to check the defect of a work by detecting, with a few man hours, the occurrence of sparks and overheating that can be generated when the work is electrically heated.SOLUTION: A total of four optical sensors 10-13 are installed around contact parts between a work W and respective electrodes 3a-3d, and they detect luminance from the vicinity of the contact parts. The luminance detected by each sensor 10-13 is input into an electric conduction spark detection device 6. The electric conduction spark detection device 6 obtains luminance (background luminance) before electric conduction heating start on the basis of detection signals of the respective optical sensors 10-13 before electric conduction heating by electric conduction from a power supply for heating 2 to the work W is started. The electric conduction spark detection device compares luminance after the electric conduction heating start (luminance at the time of heating) to the background luminance per optical sensor 10-13, and determines that a spark has occurred if the situation is an excess luminance state in which the difference between them is larger than a luminance increment threshold value.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for imparting the desired mechanical hardness and durability to a spring while suppressing the size of the spring from becoming large. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a spring includes: a preparation step of preparing a steel material which is heated to the austenitic zone and cooled; a temperature-raising step of raising the temperature of the prepared steel material to T°C; a temperature-keeping step of keeping the temperature of the steel material raised to T°C at T°C for the keeping time of t seconds; and a cooling step of cooling the steel material. In the temperature-keeping step, T°C is between 450°C and 500°C, and satisfies the formulae (1) and (2). COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for completing a painting step in a short time period by heating a stabilizer by use of electrical heating while suppressing the variation of surface temperature of the stabilizer, in a method of manufacturing the stabilizer with bent portions for an automobile. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the stabilizer for automobile includes an electrical heating step (S10) electrically heating the stabilizer, and a painting step (S12) painting the surface of the electrically heated stabilizer. In the electrical heating step, the stabilizer is electrically heated in such a way that the increasing speed of the reference surface temperature of the stabilizer is in the range of 10-30°C/sec. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating apparatus for performing heat treatment such as "quenching" and "tempering" and a heating method for quickly raising the temperature of the entire work.SOLUTION: In a first heating section 3, a workpiece W is heated by sharing heating between a first heater 3A and a second heater 3B, so that, for example, compared with the case where the entire workpiece W is heated to raise its temperature with a single heater, the temperature of the entire workpiece W can be raised uniformly. A second heating section 5 can keep the temperature of the workpiece W, while the temperature of the whole workpiece W is raised uniformly, as well as an air atmosphere furnace or the like. The workpiece W is preheated in the first heating section 3 before being heated in the second heating section 5, so that the workpiece W can be quickly heated and then the workpiece W can be heated and maintained in the second heating section 5. Accordingly, it is possible in this embodiment to quickly raise the temperature of the entire workpiece W.
