PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive photosensitive resin composition that gives a cured film having high durability against a stripping liquid or NMP (N-methylpyrolidone) and excellent PED (post exposure delay) characteristics, to provide a cured film and a production method of the film, a liquid crystal display device and an organic EL display device using the positive photosensitive resin composition, and to provide a novel polyfunctional cyclic carbonate compound.SOLUTION: The positive photosensitive resin composition comprises: (component A) a resin having an acid decomposable group and a crosslinking group; (component B) a radiation-sensitive acid generator; and (component C) a compound having no amino group but having two or more cyclic carbonate structures. The polyfunctional cyclic carbonate compound is expressed by formula (3), where L represents an arylene group having the valence of (n+1), m represents 0 or 1, and n represents an integer of 1 to 5.

In the formula, Rrepresents an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heteroaryl group; Reach independently represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a halogen atom; Arrepresents an o-arylene group or o-heteroarylene group; X represents O or S; and n represents 1 or 2.
