Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector for a flat conductor with no displacement of a pressurizing member and obtaining a stable suction even when undesirable load is applied from above on a surface to be sucked in the pressurizing member by a suction member. SOLUTION: The pressurizing member 40 is provided with a shaft part 43 working in collaboration with a terminal 20 along with a movement of the pressurizing member 40 in a position corresponding to at least one type of the terminal 20 in a direction of terminal arrangement. The shaft part 43 is provided with: a part to be guided 43A guided by the terminal 20 along with rotation in movement of the pressurizing member 40; and an abutting part 43B on which a surface to be supported 43B-1 receiving repulsing force from the terminal 20 when the pressure from a suction member B is received on the surface to be sucked 41 in an opened position. At least one type of the terminal 20 is provided with: a guiding part 26A guiding the part to be guided 43A in the shaft part; and a supporting part 26B supporting the part to be supported 43B-1 in the abutting part 43B when the pressurizing member 40 is in an opened position. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector for a flat conductor capable of miniaturizing the electric connector as well as a terminal while the terminal has a plurality of contact sections in order to secure certainty and stability of contact with the flat conductor.SOLUTION: At least a part of the terminals 20 among the plurality of the terminals 20 have the front contact section 25A and the rear contact section 26A to be in contact with a lower surface of the flat conductor F, and an extended arm section 22 extended in a cross direction at a position further separated from the flat conductor F than the front contact section 25A and the rear contact section 26A at a lower surface side of the flat conductor F in a vertical direction. The front contact section 25A and the rear contact section 26A are respectively arranged at different positions in the cross direction, the rear contact section 26A formed on the tip of a flexible rear contact arm section 26 extended from the extended arm section 22 to the front contact section 25A, and a pressure member 30 mounted on a housing 10 presses down the flat conductor F to the front contact section 25A and the rear contact section 26A.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment which enhances the rigidity of a flat conductor while minimizing the height directional dimension of a connector body, and to provide a connector provided with the same. SOLUTION: The connector having a receiving portion 15 formed in a housing 11 to receive a connecting portion of a flat conductor F having a conductor portion arranged and formed at one end side thereof, a contact portion 22A to contact with the conductor portion, which has a plurality of terminals 20 aligned in the receiving portion 15, and a movable member 30 having a pressurization portion for pressing the flat conductor F inserted to the receiving portion 15 to the contact portion 22A includes the attachment for flat conductor. The attachment 40 has an attachment portion 45 to be attached to a predetermined position of the flat conductor F, and an insert portion 42 to be inserted to the housing 11 out of the arrangement range of the conductor portion, and both sides of a connection part are exposed in the arrangement range. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector for flat conductor can maintaining stably a movable member at an open position. SOLUTION: The connector 1 includes: a connector body which has a housing 10 in which a connection part of a flat conductor F is inserted and a plurality of terminals 20 which are arranged and supported by the housing 10; and a movable member 30 which is supported movably by the connector body between an open position which enable inserting the flat conductor F and a closed position which presses the flat conductor F toward the terminals 20. The connector body has regulating parts 12B, 12D which regulate movement of the movable member 30 to the closed position by contacting regulated parts 36, 35B formed at a part of the movable member 30 in the open position before completing insertion of the flat conductor. The movable member 30 is moved to a position in which the regulated parts 36, 35B are pressed by the flat conductor F, released from regulation by the regulating parts 12B, 12D, and can move to the closed position, when completing insertion of the flat conductor. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector for a flat conductor in which a flat conductor can be connected with a terminal only by insertion of the conductor and a soldering operation does not give any thermal effect. SOLUTION: The electrical connector is provided with a flat conductor introducing portion 17 which crosses a plurality of supporting grooves 14 over an arrangement range of terminals, and the terminal is provided with a contact arm 25 and a co-working arm 24 which can be elastically deformed in a plate surface of the terminal, and the co-working arm has a latching portion 24B and the contact arm has a locked portion 28A. The co-working arm and the contact arm maintain a latching status at a position where at least either of the above arms gets an elastic displacement and allows the introduction of the flat conductor F, and at least either the co-working arm and the contact arm has a contact portion 29 facing the flat conductor introducing portion, and at least either of the co-working arm and the contact arm has a pressurized portion 24A which is pressurized by the flat conductor in a latching status, and the pressurized portion, when pressurized, releases the above latch and the contact arm gives a contact pressure on the flat conductor and the contact portion 29 is contacted with the flat conductor.
