PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent for organic synthesis which can perform chemical reaction in liquid phase, also can easily and at a low cost perform separation of unnecessary compounds from the liquid phase after finishing the reaction, and an organic synthetic reaction method using the reagent. SOLUTION: The reagent for organic synthesis has a property reversibly changing from liquid phase state to solid phase state accompanying the change of solution composition and/or solution temperature, also is used for organic synthetic reaction. By the reagent for organic synthesis, not only facilitating process development, but also, for instance, enabling to promote research and development of medicines and the like by compound library synthesis and the like, as a result, enabling to contribute to the technical innovation in biochemical industry and chemical industry. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating a water-soluble inorganic component from a water-soluble organic component while dispensing with an ultrasonic generator, a centrifugal separation apparatus or the like and a composition to be used in the separation method. SOLUTION: The method for separating the water-soluble inorganic component from the water-soluble organic component comprises a step of separating the former from the latter by using the separation composition containing a specific amide compound and water while controlling the temperature. SOLUTION: The carrier for separation includes a reaction site capable of reacting with other compounds on a benzene ring, and has a long chain group having a specific number or more of carbon atoms at each of the ortho- and para-positions of the reaction site through an oxygen atom. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite solvent containing nanosized micelles, which is capable of reducing the use of a highly polar or harmful solvent such as dimethylformamide and facilitates the separation and purification of a product and a reaction accelerator etc. SOLUTION: The composite solvent comprises a surface-active compound existing in the form of nanosized micelles in a low polar solvent. The composite solvent is used in an organic synthesis method. The nanomicelle-containing solvent comprises a surfactant, a nonpolar solvent and a highly polar solvent, wherein the surfactant is present in the form of nanosized micelles and the mixing ratio of the nonpolar solvent and the highly polar solvent (nonpolar solvent:highly polar solvent) is from 100:0 to 70:30.
