Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder for an energy device electrode, which can provide satisfactory press workability without causing peeling or breakage in press working, and can form an electrode layer having high adhesion to a current collector, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The binder for energy device electrode includes a latex obtained by multiple-stage emulsion polymerization. The polymer component by emulsion polymerization in the first stage is obtained from a monomer mixture containing an aromatic vinyl compound, a conjugated diene compound, a (meth)acrylate, and a vinyl cyanide compound, and the polymer component by emulsion polymerization in the other stage is obtained from a monomer mixture containing an aromatic vinyl compound, a conjugated diene compound and a (meth)acrylate. Abstract:
A polymer composition comprising (a) a fluorine-containing polymer and (b) a functional group-containing polymer which contains a structural unit originating from an alkyl (meth)acrylate and a structural unit originating from at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of a sulfonic acid group-containing unsaturated monomer, an amide group-containing unsaturated monomer, and a sulfonic acid group and amide group-containing unsaturated monomer is provided.
