PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating grease composition for a ball bearing with a low coefficient of friction and long acoustic service life. SOLUTION: The lubricating grease composition containing base oil and a urea compound used as a thickener is sealed in the ball bearing. The base oil contains 50-100wt.% of a carbonate compound based upon overall weight of the base oil, the carbonate compound is represented by formula 1 of R 1 -O-CO-OR 2 (in the formula, R 1 and R 2 individually represents a 6-30C saturated or unsaturated straight or branched alkyl group), and an amount of the urea compound is 3-30wt.% based upon overall weight of the grease composition. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease composition suitable to a roller bearing under a low temperature, and exhibiting stable lubricity for a long period, and provide a bearing filled with the grease composition. SOLUTION: This grease composition comprises a base oil and a thickener, where the base oil contains an ester oil comprising pentaerythritol and a fatty acid and expressed by formula (1): C(CH 2 OCOR 1 ) 4 being a pentaerythritol tetraester, wherein R 1 represents 6-12C linear and/or branched fatty acid residue. SOLUTION: This lubricating grease composition for the ball bearings of spindle motors is characterized by comprising a base oil and a thickener, wherein the base oil contains a carbonate ester compound represented by the formula (1): R 1 O-CO-OR 2 (R 1 and R 2 are each independently a 6 to 30C saturated or unsaturated linear or branched alkyl) in an amount of 50 to 100 wt.% based on the total weight of the base oil, and the thickener is selected from the group consisting of lithium soap, sodium soap, calcium soap, and a aluminum soap in an amount of 3 to 30 wt.% based on the grease composition.
