SOLUTION: The solid high polymer electrolyte 4 is composed of two solid high polymer electrolytic membranes, and, for increasing the electric resistance of the extension part 41 therein, includes an electrically insulating film 5 between the two solid high polymer electrolytic membranes. Since the electrically insulating film 5 shields or at least reduces the electric current flowing through a non-electrolyzing region 6, high current efficiency can be held even in an electrolyzing region 7 even without using an electrode base material used in the conventional technique. Abstract: PURPOSE:To make an electron beam characteristic not to be changed by providing a recess in advance on the electron radiation surface of a cathode for an electron beam welder. CONSTITUTION:A cathode end face to be affected by ion sputtering is excluded from an electron radiation surface. That is, since a recess 7 is provided in the center of the end face of a rod-shaped cathode 10, a positive ion flow 5 enters the recess 7 to collide with the bottom of the recess 7. Accordingly, a crater 6 due to the ion sputtering is generated only on the bottom of the recess 7. When welding conditions on a substance to be welded are set up on an electron radiation surface 1a excluding the recess 7, ion collision occurs inside the recess 7 so that the electron radiation surface 1a does not change and an electron beam characteristic does not change. It is thus possible to obtain a cathode for an electron beam welder, which fixes a change of an electron beam characteristic due to wear and tear of a cathode radiation surface by ion sputtering for a fixed term.

In the beam acceleration power supply 3, a high voltage boosting transformer 4 is arranged on the upper side, while an acceleration power supply unit 5 is arranged on the lower side and in the auxiliary power supply 6, an auxiliary power supply unit 8 is arranged on the upper side while an insulation transformer 7 is arranged on the lower side. Further, an electron gun device 10 is attached to the lower tank 22 through a junction part 11. Thereby, the inner face of the lower tank 22 is given good visibility thus simplifying preservation and inspection of the parts of the auxiliary power supply.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of a obtained oily material or the lowering of its yield even when the quantity of gaseous products formed by the heat treatment of sludge is changed by controlling the pressure in a reaction part for heat treatment to a value proportional to the dry sludge treating speed. The gaseous product 105 is sorted in a gas sorting part 4a into gaseous products 106a and 106b. The gaseous product 106a is sent to a reaction part 3 at normal pressure contg. a low-oxygen atmosphere and heated to 250-500 deg.C by a heater 7b and brought into contact with char 103. The pressure in the reaction part 3 is detected by a pressure detecter 13 to regulate a blower regulator 12, and the revolving speed of a gas discharge blower 11a is controlled.
