摘要: PURPOSE:To install the rotary shaft of a roll brush with needle-like members implanted collectively in a radial pattern, diagonally to the rotary shaft line of a screw feeder, then allow the tips of the needlelike members to follow the outlet of a pipe in a rotary motion and thereby scatter fine powder efficiently to effect a continuous and quantitative supply. CONSTITUTION:A roll brush 30 installed in a scattering chamber 21 has a rotary shaft 31 arranged diagonally to the extended rotary shaft line of a screw feeder 7. In addition, needle-like members 33 of, for example, comparatively pliable material such as nylon or hard material such as steel wire are implanted collectively in a radial direction on the surface of a drum 32 which is axially attached to the rotary shaft 31 so that these two rotate in one piece. The roll brush 30 is installed so that the tips of the needle-like members 33 follow the surface of an opening to the spray chamber 21 of a feeder pipe 10, and the needle-like members 33 are driven to rotate through a belt 35 by a drive motor 34 provided on the top of a spray container 20. The roll brush 30 can be adjusted appropriately to a rotary speed depending on the extent to which powder it scattered.

摘要: PURPOSE:To produce a die cast reinforced low melting metallic composite material having extremely good adhesiveness by compounding whiskers stuck with superfine particles of inorg. materials, etc., and a low melting metal at a specific ratio under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:The superfine particles of the inorg. materials (for example, Al2O3, Si3N4, WC, various kinds of glass, etc.), metallic materials or single substance elements (Al, Mg, Zn, etc.) having an average grain size of 0.05 to 17mum are securely and uniformly dispersed and adhered in single layer at 8 to 90% of the surfaces of the whiskers (silicon carbide whiskers, aluminum borate whiskers, etc.). The die cast reinforced low melting metallic composite material is produced by compounding 1 to 40vol.% such whiskers and 99 to 60vol.% low melting metal (aluminum alloy, zinc alloy, etc.). The anchor sites to the metals are formed on the surface of the whiskers by adhering the superfine particles to the whisker surfaces in such a manner. The composite material having the excellent adhesiveness of the whiskers to the low melting metal is thus obtd. by a microanchor effect.
