SOLUTION: An upper section and a lower section of the frame 14 are connected in foldable flexures 145a, 145b; a side face of the upper section in a longer side of a display screen, opposite to the side face including the side connected to the flexures 145a, 145b, is provided with two hooks 141a, 141b; and a side face of the lower section of the frame 14, opposite to the side face including the above described side, is provided two pawl-like projections 142a, 142b. The upper section and the lower section of the frame 14 are fixed to sandwich a backlight unit 12 by firmly locking the hooks with the projections. The frame 13 comprises four corner frame members 132a and 132d which have recessed parts having a prescribed shape formed in both end parts and four side frame members 131a and 131d which have projecting parts, which have such shape that they can be fitted to the recessed parts, formed in both end parts. The frame 13 is manufactured by fitting the projecting parts into the recessed parts respectively. Since this configuration allows the corner frame members to be small and allows the side frame members 131a to 131d to be slender, the frame can be manufactured by the small-sized molding machine or the like by using a mold having these members properly arranged therein. When the toner particles 1a before an alkane treatment are treated with a straight-chain alkane, the release agent 3 exposed on the surface of the toner particles 1a and present in a region from the surface to a depth of not more than 700 nm is eluted and removed by the straight-chain alkane.
