Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a behavior control system that suppresses a spinning behavior of a vehicle using a spinning state quantity, which is calculated based on a vehicle body slip angle, a derivative of the slip angle, and a second-order derivative thereof, as a control quantity, and avoid degradation of an effect of spin suppressing due to contribution of the second-order derivative of the vehicle body slip angle when a steering angle is retained after abrupt steering is performed once.SOLUTION: A system of the present invention is characterized in that after a second-order derivative of a vehicle body slip angle exceeds a predetermined value because a vehicle is steered in one of left-hand and right-hand directions, if an averaged value of steering angular velocities falls below a predetermined value, contribution of the second-order derivative of the vehicle body slip angle to a spinning state quantity is reduced.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximize regenerative efficiency of the whole vehicle while achieving a predetermined front and rear braking force distribution rate. SOLUTION: Target braking forces Fbft, Fbrt for front and rear wheels are computed based on final target deceleration Gt from braking effort of a driver and a predetermined braking force distribution rate for front and rear wheels (S10-60), target regenerative braking force Frgft for front wheel is computed to the lower value of the Fbft and the maximum regenerative braking force Frgfmax, and target regenerative braking Frgrt for rear wheel is computed to the lower value of the Fbrt and the maximum regenerative braking force Frgrmax (S70). The regenerative braking is performed so that the target regenerative braking forces Frgft, Frgrt may be upper limits, and the actual regenerative braking forces Frgfa, Frgra are computed (S210-260). Target friction braking forces Fbpft, Fbprt for front and rear wheels are computed to Fbft-Frgfa, and Fbrt-Frgra respectively (S90), and a friction brake mechanism 42 is controlled so that friction braking forces for front and rear wheels may be the target friction braking force (S100, 110).

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake liquid pressure control device capable of suppressing a drop of the braking performance even in case any unbraked wheel is generated owing to a liquid leak at any wheel cylinder. SOLUTION: A brake liquid pressure control device includes a controller to put an accumulator 38 in communication with the wheel cylinders 48FL-48RR of car wheels when a brake 12 is to be operated and control the liquid pressures of the cylinders 48FL-48RR, wherein a sensing means senses any failed wheel to be braked, and the controller shuts off the liquid pressure supplied from the accumulator to the applicable cylinder for the failed wheel and also makes appropriate control of the liquid pressures of the other wheel cylinders.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake fluid pressure control device which can protect a valve for controlling transmission of fluid pressure between a brake and wheel, and elongate the life of the valve. SOLUTION: In this type of brake fluid pressure control device 10, a pressure boosting linear valve 150 is intermitently set ON in order to stop a vehicle, on condition that a brake pedal 126 is operated. Current is thus intermittently supplied to an electromagnetic coil of the pressure boosting linear valve 150. It is thus possible to reduce deterioration of the electromagnetic coil of the pressure boosting linear valve 150, and elongate the life of the pressure boosting valve 150.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress difference between regenerative braking force and hydraulic braking force against a constant master cylinder, in a braking force control device equipped with hydraulic braking means and regenerative braking means. SOLUTION: A hydraulic control mechanism 32 generates hydraulic braking force, and a driving regenerator 14 generates regenerative braking force. The hydraulic braking force is not generated until wheel cylinder pressure PW/ C exceeds idle stroke pressure KPIN. While, the driving regenerator 14 generates the regenerative braking force equal to a required regenerative braking force RBT within a range not exceeding the maximum regenerative braking force. The required regenerative braking force RBT is set to a value equivalent to hydraulic pressure that the idle stroke pressure PIN is subtracted from master cylinder pressure PM/ C.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To keep off a stall in increasing the extent of driving force as specified by augmenting a target slip factor when a car is in a state of being yet accelerable at acceleration requiredness as well as when it is stalled, concerning this wheel slip controller. CONSTITUTION:A control target speed increasing means M2 increases the control target speed of driving wheels in the case where a body speed based on the wheel speed of driven wheels at acceleration requiredness is in an increment. In addition, a control target speed holding means M3 holds the value of the control target speed in the case where the body speed is not in the increment, and being still in the acceleration requiredness.
