    摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable absorbent article including a fluid permeable structured fibrous web using thermally stable fibers that are thermally bonded together using heat to produce a thermally stable base substrate.SOLUTION: A base substrate 20 is textured via mechanical treatment to produce a structured fibrous web 21 having an aged caliper of less than 1.5 mm, a vertical wicking height of at least 5 mm, a permeability of at least 10,000 cm/(Pa s) and a specific volume of at least 5 cm/g. The structured fibrous web provides the optimal fluid wicking and fluid acquisition capabilities and is directed toward fluid management applications.

    摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent core which is used for disposable absorbent article containing porous absorbent gelling materials for absorbing menses or blood and improves influences on a fluid catching capability due to partial cover of an outer surface of an absorbent polymer material with the layer of a thermoplastic material.SOLUTION: An absorbent core includes a base material layer 100 including a first surface and a second surface. The absorbent core further includes a layer of an absorbent polymer material 110 including a first surface and a second surface. The absorbent core also includes an adhesive layer 120 including a first surface and a second surface. The layer of an absorbent polymer material is included between the adhesive layer and the base material layer. The second surface of the absorbent polymer material layer is in contact with the first surface of the base material layer, and the first surface of the absorbent polymer material layer is in contact with the second surface of the adhesive layer. The layer of the absorbent polymer material further contains porous absorbent polymer particles having bulk density ranging from 0.01g/cmto 0.4g/cm.
