    【解決手段】金型の内部に、金属管との接触を判定することが可能な接触感知センサが、少なくとも2ヶ所以上の異なる管軸方向の位置に装着されているハイドロフォーム金型を用いて、内圧を一定の値で保持させた状態で管端を軸押しし、管端に最も近い位置に装着されている未接触の接触感知センサが金属管の接触を感知した時に軸押しの進行を停止させる第1工程を行い、次に、管端の位置を固定したまま内圧のみを上昇させ、未接触である接触感知センサのうち少なくとも一つが接触を判定した時に内圧の上昇を停止させる第2工程を行い、引き続き管端の位置を固定したまま、上昇前の値まで内圧を降下させる第3工程を行い、前記第1工程から第3工程を接触感知センサが全部接触を感知するまで繰り返すハイドロフォーム加工方法。

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose hydroforming equipment and a hydroforming method by which the loading passage of hydroforming is simply determined.
    SOLUTION: In this hydroforming method, the processes from a first step to a third step are repeated until all contact is sensed with touch-sensitive sensors. The first step where pipe ends are pushed axially in the state where the internal pressure is held at a fixed value by using a hydroforming die in which touch-sensitive sensors which are possible to determine the contact with a metallic pipe are mounted in at least two or more different positions in the axial direction of the pipe in the inside of a die and the progress of the axial pushing is stopped when a non-contact touch-sensitive sensor which is mounted in the nearest position by the end of the pipe senses the contact with the metallic pipe is performed. Next, the second step where only the internal pressure is raised as fixing the position of the pipe end and the rising of the internal pressure is stopped when the contact is determined with at least one of the non-contact touch-sensitive sensors is performed. Successively, the third step where the internal pressure is lowered to the value before raising as fixing the position of the pipe end is performed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a bent pipe having no collapsion defect by introducing a bulging liquid pressure into a blank material pipe for bent while advnacing a movable forming die which forms the inside surface of the blank material pipe for bent. CONSTITUTION:A blank material pipe 10 for bent having a plug 27 inserted in its end is placed on a lower forming die 11, then an upper forming die is lowered by a die clamping press to grasp the pipe 10 between said die and the die 11, thereby applying a die clamping force thereon. A pressure oil is introduced into the advance port 24 of a pressurizing cylinder 22 to advance a pressing rod 19, and to move forward a movable forming die 17. The top end of the rod 19 is brought into contact with the end of the pipe 10 and the inside die cavity 18 of the die 17 is brought into contact partially with the inside of the pipe 10 by an initial pressing force F1. The initial bulging force is then introduced through an introducing hole 21 for the bulging liquid into the pipe 10. The initial pressing force is increased to compress the pipe 10 and the die 17 is further moved forward to increase gradually the bulging pressure. A spacer ring 26 is compressed to the position where it contacts with the forming die, and the forming is completed.
