SOLUTION: The rotary damper has a partition wall 3 arranged between a body case 1 and a rotor 2, the viscous liquid filled in the chamber 4 partitioned by the partition wall 3, a vane 5 pressing the viscous liquid by rotating together with the rotor 2, and the cover 6 blocking up an opening part of the body case 1, and is characterized by welding the cover 6 not only to the body case 1 but also to the partition wall 3. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic bonding device with which clearance between a plurality of anvils set up to a rotary body and an ultrasonic horn is individually adjusted to reduce tolerance so as to improve the quality of ultrasonic bonding. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic bonding device includes the following structure: an anvil 200 comprises a temperature adjustment mechanism 262 provided with a heat generation body which generates heat. The anvil 200 also comprises a heat transfer part 261 for transferring the heat generated from the temperature adjustment mechanism 262 to a rotary drum 110. The anvil 200 further comprises temperature sensors 270 detecting the temperature of an anvil-attached part 112a to which the anvil 200 of the rotary drum 110 is set up. The ultrasonic bonding device 100, not shown, is provided with a control unit which controls the heating temperature of the rotary drum 110 by the temperature adjustment mechanism 260. The control unit controls the amount of heat generated by the heat generation body of the temperature adjustment mechanism 262 on the basis of the result of detection by the temperature sensors 270. SOLUTION: The device for bonding cloth includes the following structure: a supporting part 40 extending downward from a pump case 31 has a nozzle 45 emitting an adhesive; a pole part 17 has a roller holding part 20 rotatably holding an upwardly transported roller 24 driven by a motor; the upwardly transported roller 24 is disposed downstream of the nozzle 45 in the feeding direction of the cloth so that the nozzle 45 transports the adhesive-applied cloth while pressurizing the cloth; and an operation part 47 which is operated by an operator for controlling the movement of the cloth bonding device, is installed in the vicinity of the nozzle 45 or the upwardly transporting roller 24. The method is aimed at indirectly determining the energy absorbed by a conducting layer (5) forming part of a strip of packaging material (1) to be sealed transversely. The method is based on measuring parameters correlated with the power supplied by a current source (45) to the packaging material (1) during sealing, and with the temperature of the conducting layer (5). The temperature measurement takes into account the temperature of the product to be packed, the characteristics of the packaging material, and the characteristics of the mechanical sealing members; correct cutting of the packaging material after sealing is also determined; and the parameters are monitored by measuring associated quantities and by comparison with permissible values.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser welding method which can firmly weld an object to be welded when a resin is welded by being irradiated with laser beams several times. SOLUTION: A work 6, after being irradiated with the first laser beams L1 emitted from the first irradiation part 3A, is irradiated with the second laser beams L2 emitted from the second irradiation part 3B to be welded. The intensity of the second laser beams L2 is adjusted at laser beam intensity to be a temperature lower than a temperature which is given to the light absorbing resin layer 6B of the work 6 by the first laser beams L1.
