PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic adhesive sheet and an optical film excellent in antistatic properties, adhesive properties, heat-resistance, and stain resistance, specifically capable of suppressing adherence of dirt or dust and breakage of an electronic component by static electricity.SOLUTION: An antistatic adhesive sheet has an adhesive layer at least on one surface of an antistatic substrate film. The adhesive layer is formed of an antistatic adhesive composition including a (meth)acrylic polymer containing reactive ionic liquid as a monomer unit. The cationic part of the reactive ionic liquid is quaternary ammonium salt. The anionic part is fluorine-based anion.

The invention relates to antistatic polymer compositions comprising a polymer substrate, a polyalkyleneethoxylate with a specific molecular weight and a salt. Further aspects are a process for preparing an antistatic polymer and the use of such a polyalkyleneethoxylate as antistatic agent in polymers, preferably together with a salt.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electro-optic assemblies useful in the production of electro-optic displays.SOLUTION: An electro-optic assembly comprises an adhesive layer and a layer of electro-optic material. The adhesive layer comprises a polymeric adhesive material and an ionic material that has either one of its cation or its anion fixed to the polymeric adhesive material. The ionic material reduces the volume resistivity of the polymeric adhesive material and is not removed after heating to 50°C. In a similar electro-optic assembly comprising an adhesive layer and a layer of electro-optic material, the adhesive layer comprises a polymeric adhesive material which has been subjected to dialysis or diafiltration in order to remove organic species having a molecular weight of less than 3,500, so that the adhesive material has a content of N-methylpyrrolidone of not exceeding 500 ppm based on the total weight of the adhesive layer and the layer of electro-optic material.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition which is excellent in removability, peel force temporal stability and staining resistance, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer produced with the same, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet; and further to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition which can prevent electrification of a non-antistatic protected adherend when peeled off using an ionic compound which is an antistatic agent, and is less likely to cause lifting and is also excellent in removability, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer produced with the same, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet.SOLUTION: A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition includes: a (meth)acrylic polymer that contains a (meth)acrylic monomer having a 1-14C alkyl group as a principal ingredient; and an organopolysiloxane that has an oxyalkylene chain, wherein the organopolysiloxane is shown by the formula.
