    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a masking sheet capable of reducing the load at high-speed rewinding while maintaining the adhesive force to an adherend and the own back face, removable without adhesive transfer and staining even when used at high temperature, and obtained by using a material originated from a plant and is friendly to the global environment. SOLUTION: The polyester-based masking sheet has an adhesive layer comprising a polyester resin obtained by subjecting a plant-originated dicarboxylic acid and a plant-originated diol in proportions regulated so that the proportion of the hydroxy group contained in the diol based on 1.00 mol carboxy group contained in the dicarboxylic acid may be 1.01-1.40 mol to condensation polymerization, and an adhesiveness-imparting agent in an amount of 10-50 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. polyester resin, and subjected to crosslinking treatment with a crosslinking agent, on a base material.
