본 발명은 커먼레일 인젝터의 조절 방법에 관한 것이다. 상기 방법은 커먼레일 인젝터의 밸브 챔버 내 압력에 비례하는 센서의 신호(S)를 검출하는 단계와, 커먼레일 인젝터의 하나 이상의 작동 이벤트를 인지하기 위해 시간(t)에 따른 신호(S)의 변화를 평가하는 단계와, 하나 이상의 작동 이벤트에 따라 커먼레일 인젝터의 하나 이상의 작동 변수를 변경하는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 하나 이상의 작동 변수는 커먼레일 인젝터의 스위칭 밸브의 개방 기간, 폐쇄 기간, 개방 시점 및 폐쇄 시점뿐만 아니라 커먼레일 인젝터의 니들 밸브의 개방 기간, 개방 시점 및 폐쇄 시점 중에서도 선택된다.

The system comprises an injector (1) controlled by commands (S1, S 2 ) of a control unit. The injector (1) comprises a dosing servo valve (5) having a control chamber (26) provided with an outlet passage (42a) that is opened/closed by an open/close element (47) that is axially movable. The open/close element (47) is carried by an axial guide element (41) that is separate from an anchor (17) of an electromagnet (16). The open/close element (47) is held in the closing position by a spring (23) acting through an intermediate body (12a). Preferably, the strokes of the open/close element (47) and of the anchor (17) are chosen so as to eliminate, upon closing of the solenoid valve (5), the rebounds of the open/close element (47) subsequent to the first rebound. The control unit (100) controls an injection comprising a pre-injection and a main injection, via two distinct electrical commands (S1, S2), which are spaced apart by a dwell time (DT) such as to occur in an area (Z) of reduced variation of the amount of injected fuel; therefore, the stability of operation of the system increases as said dwell time (DT) varies.

SOLUTION: This fuel injection device includes a fuel injector 1 controlled by commands S 1 , S 2 from a control unit 100. The fuel injector 1 includes a flow regulation servo 5 having a control chamber 26 provided with a discharge passage 42a opened and closed by an opening and closing element 47 movable axial-directionally. The opening and closing element 47 is carried by an axial-directional guide element 41 independent of an armature 17 of an electromagnet 16. The opening and closing element 47 is held in a closing position by a spring 23 acting thereon via an intermediate structure 12a. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustable servo throttle valve with high reliability at a cost suppressed. SOLUTION: The servo throttle valve 7 has a valve body, an opening/closing element 48, and an electromagnet 29, and is accommodated in the shell 2 of an injection device 1. The electromagnet 29 moves a movable armature 31 in order to generate a movement bounded by hindering elements 36 and 50, and is accommodated in a casing 53 secured to the shell 2 using screw-fitted ring nut(s) 69. The ring nut 69 is driven into a threaded portion 71 of the shell 2 with a preset fastening torque. The casing 53 has a still plane formed so as to engage with the shoulder 58 of the shell 2. The still plane is provided in that region of the casing 53 which is deformed according to the fastening torque of the ring nut 69 so that the movement of the armature 31 can be finely adjusted. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device for an internal combustion engine and a method of controlling fuel injection by a simple structure at low cost. SOLUTION: This fuel injection device for the internal combustion engine comprises an injection nozzle 5 and an electric injector 1 having a needle 7 opening and closing the nozzle 5 by an electric actuator 8. The movement of the needle 7 is controlled by a rod 14 pressed by the pressure of a fuel in a control chamber 15 in which the needle 7 is normally maintained at the position for closing the nozzle 5. The control chamber has an inlet 18 with a diameter D 4 and an outlet passage 24 having a diameter D 5 and controlled by a control valve 16. The method for fuel injection comprises the step of selecting the ratio D 5 /D 4 of the diameters to determine the rate of the displacement of the needle 7 and the step of transmitting a first electric command C 1 and a second electric command C 2 adjacent to each other to the device 8 to move the needle 7 in the profile P operated continuously with time. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a ring-like member enabling the efficient production of a backup ring reinforcing a seal member installed in the pressure introduction chamber of a fuel injection valve and having high strength, the backup ring, and a seal structure of the fuel injection valve having the backup ring. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the ring-like member manufactured by applying a burring method to a flat plate-like base with rigidity comprises the step of forming a prepared hole in the base, the step of bending the edge of the prepared hole by pressing the edge of the prepared hole using a first tapered punch member 1 having a larger diameter than the prepared hole and tapered toward the end for the prepared hole, and the step of forming a flange part by press-fitting a second punch member having a smaller diameter than the firs punch member and tapered toward the end into the prepared hole of which edge is bent.
