    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device and method for detecting a test compound such as an insecticide or others.SOLUTION: A sample to be examined is mounted on a cassette and inserted into a housing in which light is not practically transmissible and, in order to induce fluorescent light emission from a test compound on the sample, light from a light source inside the housing is turned toward the sample. In order to detect light emission having a spectrum component specific for the test compound to be detected, fluorescent light emission from the sample is monitored by a detector within the housing. Data from the detector is processed, and information based on the processed data is displayed. In accordance with embodiments, a device is calibrated by data from a reference sample of which the concentration or density is known. The detector measures the test compound by the unit of a mass per unit area and, depending on embodiments, the mass per unit area is converted into a unit of the concentration or density of the test compound in the sample.
