Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size antenna device reducing a side lobe, and a radar apparatus.SOLUTION: An antenna device 100 comprises a plurality of transmission units 121 in which a plurality of elements are disposed in one direction. Some 121-1 to 121-L of the plurality of transmission units are continuously displaced in the one direction, and sequentially and adjacently disposed in a direction perpendicular to the one direction. The other transmission units 121-L+1 to 121-2L are continuously displaced in a direction opposite to the one direction, and sequentially and adjacently disposed in the direction perpendicular to the one direction.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of attaching a radar for a vehicle for attaching the radar for the vehicle onto the vehicle, so as to reduce the influence of a reflected wave from an object not required to be detected. SOLUTION: In this vehicular radar attaching method for attaching the vehicular radar onto the vehicle for monitoring the objects, by emitting a radio wave from an antenna, and by receiving the reflected wave thereof, the radar 11 for the vehicle is constituted to make asymmetric directivity within a vertical plane of the antenna and to make a downward gain get lower than an upward gain, and the radar 11 is attached to the vehicle 12 to direct the directivity of the antenna upwards by an angle θ 1 . PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave receiver improved in antenna resolution by utilizing the transfer function in the azimuth angle frequency domain obtained by Fourier transforming an antenna pattern with respect to the azimuth angle. SOLUTION: This receiver is provided with a signal process circuit 6 composed of a means 6-1 for Fourier transforming the electric field signal outputted from an antenna reception circuit with respect to the azimuth angle, means 6-2 for Fourier transforming the antenna pattern of an antenna with respect to the azimuth angle, means 6-3 for dividing the Fourier transformed electric field signal with the Fourier transformed antenna pattern signal and means 6-5 for passing the divided signal through a low-pass filter 6-4 concerning the azimuth angle frequency and performing inverse Fourier transformation with respect to the azimuth angle and the signal, to which inverse Fourier transformation is performed, is outputted as a final antenna output.
