摘要:
A novel antibiotic-producing Bacillus sp. is provided that exhibits antifungal activity only on certain specific plant pathogens and no antibacterial activity is provided by this invention, as well as a biologically pure culture of a strain having all the identifying characteristics of this strain. Also provided is a method of treating or protecting plants, fruit and roots from fungal infections by applying an effective amount of these strains, supernatants produced by these strains or a metabolite isolated from these strains. The invention further encompasses the synergistic fungicidal effect of using a strain of NRRL Accession Nos. B-30087 together with B-21661 (AQ 713).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new bacterial strain capable of inhibiting the wide range of vegetable diseases in vivo caused by fungi, and a fungicidal composition containing an antibiotic material, and the purified and unpurified fractions of the strain. SOLUTION: This new antibiotic material-producing Bacillus sp. exhibiting an antifungal activity only to a specific plant pathogen and without exhibiting an antibacterial activity, and a biologically pure cultured material of the strain, having all of the characteristics for identifying the above strain are provided. Also, the method for treating the fungal infection of plants, fruits and roots or protecting from the fungal infection by using the effective amounts of the above strains, supernatant produced by the strains or metabolites isolated from the strains is provided. This disclosure also comprises a synergistic fungicidal effect by using the strain of NRRL registered number B-30087 together with that of B-21661 (AQ713). COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a physiologically active substance from a distillation cake of sweet potato Shochu (Japanese distilled spirit), particularly a substance having DPPH radical scavenging activity and especially a cancer cell growth suppressing action. SOLUTION: Distillation cake of sweet potato Shochu is treated with koji malt or its extract, the treated product is pressed and filtered and the obtained liquid is optionally purified by filtering with a hollow fiber membrane. When the filtration is difficult simply by the addition of the malt or the malt extract to the distillation cake of sweet potato Shochu, a cellulase enzyme is added in the case of adding the malt or the malt extract. PURPOSE:To obtain new antibiotics useful for treatment for various kinds of infectious diseases, especially infectious diseases caused by a gram-positive and multiple-drug-resistant bacterium. CONSTITUTION:An antibiotic stalobacin A having the following physical properties: Melting point, decomposition at 240 deg.C (as Na salt); LSI-MS maximum peak (m/z): 1483; HRLSI-MS: 1483.7347; (MH )(m/z): C61H107N14O28, theoretical value: 1483.7372; IR (KBr)(cm ): 3385.1748 and 1653.1526; UV (H2O): absorption at the terminals; (epsilon) in 210nm: 36300; CD: [theta]196-77020, [theta]212+3159, [theta]231-33480, [theta]257+4028; HPLC holding time (min): 7.8; amino acid analysis (molar ratio): HyAsp(1), Asp(1), Ser(2), HyIle(1), Gly(1) and Ala(1). This antibiotic stalobacin A is obtained together with stalobacin B to G by culture of Pseudomonas sp. PBJ-5360 (FERM BP-4342).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humus precursor-ferrihydrite precursor complex containing humic acid, fulvic acid and physiologically active substances, growth promoters, antibiotic substances, etc., giving activity to plants and soil bacteria and capturing heavy metals, etc. SOLUTION: Humus raw material produced by crushing and mixing dry lumber and raw lumber is sprayed with a mixed culture liquid composed of a fermentation assistant and ionic water. When the temperature of the humus raw material reaches 65-70°C, the ionic water is sprayed on the raw material, the material is turned, the ionic water is sprayed on the material when the temperature of the material reaches 65-70°C, the material is turned and the product is left to stand for 1 week while introducing air into the material.
