摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a new DNA useful for the preparation of a proliferation factor originated from human hepatic cancer cell. CONSTITUTION:A DNA coding for a proliferation factor originated from human hepatic cancer cell and having the amino acid sequence of formula. The proliferation factor DNA originated from human hepatic cancer cell can be prepared by extracting mRNA from cultured HuH-7 cell originated from human hepatic cancer cell, synthesizing a double-stranded cDNA from the mRNA, amplifying a DNA fragment of a proliferation factor originated from human hepatic cancer cell by PCR method to design a probe of oligonucleotide for screening, integrating the cDNA into a vector DNA for procaryote to obtain a cDNA library and screening the probe for screening.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a new prolactin having industrial advantage such as application to growth promoter in culture of fishes, showing action related to growth promotion of marine fishes, from prolactin derived from hypophysis of Acipenser mikadoi. CONSTITUTION:Hypophysis is extracted from Acipenser mikadoi before egg laying, freeze-dried, de-fatted, ground by a homogenizer in 35 % hydrochloric acid-acetone solution at 4 deg.C under cooling with ice and extracted with acid- acetone for one hour on ice. The extracted solution is ultracentrifuged to separate precipitate. The precipitate is dissolved in 1M acetic acid, subjected to gel filtration, its active fraction is purified by reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography and eluted with acetonitrile-containing 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid solution. The prepared fifth fraction is lyophilized to give the objective new prolactin which has about 23kD molecular weight measured by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and specific amino acid constitution obtained by hydrolysis with 0.6% phenol-containing 6N-hydrochloric acid and determination.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a prophylactic and therapeutic agent which can effectively treat digestive tract disorders caused by a variety of tissue disorder factors. CONSTITUTION:This prophylactic and therapeutic agent for disorders in digestive tract mucous membranes contains a pharmacologically effective amount of M-CSF(macrophage colony stimulating factor) together with a pharmaceutically permissible nontoxic carrier. The M-CSF includes a variety of physiologically active substances which acts on normal bone marrow cells to accelerate differentiation and proliferation of monocytes and promotes and they may be natural ones as well as biotechnologically derived recombinants. For example, they may have an amino acid primary sequence of the N-terminus in any position from 1 Glu to 5 Glue and the C-terminus in any position from 145 Glue to 214 Pro, or a primury amino acid sequence from 3 Val to 153 Thr or from 4 Ser to 153 Thr.
