Abstract: A compensation device of fuel injection time and a method thereof are provided to decrease deviation of fuel injection time, and to reduce irregular vibration of an engine by advancing or delaying the basic fuel injection time of each cylinder according to compensation value. A fuel injection time compensation device is composed of a vibration sensor(10) installed in a cylinder block of an engine(20) to detect LPP(Location Of Peak Pressure) of each cylinder, an engine control unit(30) calculating a fuel injection time compensation value by comparing LPP of each cylinder with reference LPP and deciding final fuel injection time by advancing or retarding basic fuel injection time of the cylinder based on the fuel injection time compensation value, and injectors(52,54,56,58) injecting fuel to each cylinder according to final fuel injection time decided by the engine control unit.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for controlling diesel knocking is provided to accurately control timing of fuel injection, to prevent deterioration of torque and output of an engine, and to reduce noise, disorder of the engine and smoke. CONSTITUTION: A method includes the steps of: a step(110) inputting TDC signal to an ECU controlling an engine; a step(120,130) measuring compressing pressure and compressing temperature in a cylinder of the engine at TDC; a step(140) calculating ignition delay time based on the compressing pressure and the compressing temperature; a step(150) comparing the ignition delay time with preset critical value of ignition delay time; and a step(160,170) calculating delay quantity of fuel injection timing to delay fuel injection timing if the ignition delay time is larger than the preset critical value of the ignition delay time. The ignition delay time is calculated using an algebraic expression of: (formula 1) where T is the compressing temperature in the cylinder at the TDC, and P is the compressing pressure in the cylinder at the TDC.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for controlling an injection time of a fuel injection pump is provided to improve an engine performance by stably operating an engine through stably injecting fuel regardless of the sudden variation of cooling water temperature. CONSTITUTION: An ECU detects an engine R.P.M, accelerator pedal voltage, and a cooling water temperature(S100). After reading map data in normal temperature and low temperature(S110), it is determined whether the cooling water temperature is higher than or identical to a reference temperature(S120). If the cooling water temperature is higher than or identical to the reference temperature, map data of the normal temperature is outputted, thereby controlling a fuel injection time(S150). If the cooling water temperature is lower than a reference temperature, it is determined whether the cooling water temperature is identical to or lower than a determining temperature(S160). If the cooling water temperature is identical to or lower than the determining temperature, map data of the lower temperature is outputted(S170), thereby controlling the fuel injection time.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A compensatory control method for target injection timing is provided to stably operate a vehicle without shortage of injection time and torque fluctuation due to change of a mode. CONSTITUTION: A target injection timing compensation is controlled by the following steps. Fuzzy operation is performed by calculating basic target injection time, target air amount and target injection time(30-31). Target injection time is compared to a minimum reference injection time during fuzzy operation(32-33). The performance of lean operation is decided. If the target injection time is less than the minimum reference injection time or an engine is in a lean operation mode, the target injection time is corrected. The corrected target injection time is reduced according to the present air amount. Operation is continued while purge amount is maintained by the reduced air amount. By increasing or decreasing target injection time according to injection amount and air amount, an engine is operated stably.
