PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing a fin material made of aluminum in which a non-chromium type conversion treatment agent harmless for the environment is used, and by which required performances of corrosion resistance and moisture resistance are satisfied and to provide a hydrophilized fin material made of aluminum. CONSTITUTION: In the process where an aluminum base material for a fin material is subjected to conversion treatment, a chemical conversion coating is deposited while maintaining a conversion treatment solution to the following compositional ranges under the conditions of the solution temperature of 30 to 70°C and the treatment time of 1 to 10 sec. The surface of the chemical conversion coating is deposited with a corrosion resistant coating and/or a hydrophilized coating composed of water based resin: zirconium ions of 10 to 10,000 ppm, phosphoric ions of 10 to 10,000 ppm, aluminum ions of 100 to 10,000 ppm, effective fluorine ions of 1 to 500 ppm, organic acid having one or more phenolic hydroxyl groups in the molecule of 10 to 10,000 ppm, and pH of 1.0 to 4.0.

CONSTITUTION: The surface treating method of aluminum substrate comprises a step(1) of forming a chemical conversion film on the aluminum substrate by chemical conversion treatment reaction using a chemical conversion treatment agent consisting of fluorine and zirconium-containing compound and/or fluorine and titanium-containing compound; and a step(2) of forming a hydrophilic film using a hydrophilic treatment agent, wherein the chemical conversion treatment reaction is conducted through electrolysis treatment.

PURPOSE: To provide an acidic detergent for a chemical conversion film of a heat exchanger which is capable of forming the good chemical conversion film by removing the segregated matter caused by a brazing filler metal existing on the surfaces of the fins and tubes of the heat exchanger made of aluminum to clean these surfaces, a method for pickling the heat exchanger, a method for treating the heat exchanger including the pickling method and the heat exchanger formed by the treating method. CONSTITUTION: The heat exchanger, such as a car evaporator, is pickled by using the acidic detergent which is an aqueous solution containing at least one of the metal and/or metal acid salt selected from iron, nickel, cobalt, molybdenum and cerium and nitric acid and/or sulfuric acid and is then subjected to chemical conversion film formation and hydrophilic film formation. The chemical conversion film and the hydrophilic treatment film are formed after the pickling method.

PURPOSE: Provided are crosslinkable microparticles, which form a hydrophilic coating layer having excellent hydrophilicity, hydrophilicity maintenance after the adhesion of contaminants and adhesion on metallic surfaces such as aluminum or aluminum alloy. CONSTITUTION: The crosslinkable microparticles are obtained by the copolymerization of monomer components comprising: (a) 30-95 wt% of a monomer represented by the following formula 1; (b) 5-60 wt% of a monomer having a polyoxyalkylene chain and polymerizable double bond; and (c) 0-50 wt% of other polymerizable monomers. In formula 1, R1 represents H or methyl group, and R2 represents CH2 or C2H4. Particularly, monomer (b) comprises 50 wt% or more of polyoxyalkylene chain and polymerizable monomers (c) include (meth)acrylic acid.

CONSTITUTION: The washing solution comprises an inorganic acid below pH 2 containing aqueous sulfuric and nitric acid solution, 0.05- 4 g/l of oxidation type metal ion such as Fe 3+ ion, meta-VO 3- ion, Ce 4+ ion, Co 5+ ion and S4 4+ ion, and 0.05-10 g/l of surfactant (formula 1: R-5-(EO)nH; R is C10- C18 alkyl group per one average molecular; n is more than 8; EO is ethylene oxide group containing a little propylene oxide) having molecular weight more than 600. The solution also contains more than one kind of chelate dispersing agent such as 1-hydroxy ethylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid, a decomposition preventing agent such as NaBr, foam remover such as C12H25-O-(EO)6(PO).
