摘要: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a carbon nanotube/phenol-based compound composite is provided to improve the dispersibility of the carbon nanotubes without directly dispersing the carbon nanotubes on a phenol-based compound matrix by dissolving the carbon nanotubes in a solvent. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a carbon nanotube/phenol-based compound composite comprises the following steps: refining the carbon nanotubes by removing impurities from the carbon nanotubes; dissolving the carbon nanotubes in a solvent; dispersing the carbon nanotubes by mixing the carbon nanotubes solution and a molten phenol-based compound; and synthesizing the carbon nanotube/phenol-based compound composite using an intermediate synthesized compound of the carbon nanotube/phenol-based compound.

摘要: PURPOSE: A nonflammable construction material using a room temperature curable phenol resin and its preparation method are provided, which material is improved in the heat resistance and the ignition resistance, and is reduced in the amount of smoke and toxic gases generated in ignition. CONSTITUTION: The nonflammable construction material comprises 1-80 wt% of a room temperature curable phenol resin; 10-70 wt% of a filler; 1-15 wt% of a curing agent; and the balance of an additive comprising a plasticizer, an accelerator, a lubricant, a coloring agent, and a modifier. Preferably the filler is selected from the group consisting of cement, clay, silica, gypsum, carbon fiber, glass fiber, boron fiber, wood meal, cotton flock, asbestos, quartz powder and their mixtures. The method comprises the steps of mixing the phenol resin, a curing agent, and an additive; adding a filler and a releasing agent to the mixture; injecting the mixture into a mold and curing it at the B-stage before the C-stage at a room temperature; and demolding the composition and post-curing it at 20-90 deg.C.

摘要: PURPOSE: Provided are a fire retardant containing non-halogen nitrogen compounds and layered silicate, and a preparation method thereof. The fire retardant reserves stable mechanical properties of a resin without using toxic halogen compounds, can be applied to electronic and industrial materials where fire retardants are needed. CONSTITUTION: The fire retardant comprises 80-90wt.% of a nitrogen compound containing no halogen component and 1-20wt.% of a layered silicate with nanometer size which has reduced polarity by treating with an organic compound. The layered silicate is selected from the group of montmorillonite, hectorite, vermiculite and saponite. The organic transformer is alkyl ammonium with the carbon chain number of 10 to 18. One or more of the nitrogen compounds are selected from the group of melamine derivatives consisting melamine, melamine phosphate and melamine cyanurate, the isocyanurate compounds consisting urea, urea derivatives, tris(2-hydroxyethyl)isocyanurate and triazine derivatives. The preparation method comprises the steps of: (a) treating with organic agent to reduce the polarity of the silicate layer; (b) mixing the 80-99wt.% of the nitrogen compound containing no halogen with 1-20wt.% of the layered silicate with less polarity from the step (a); and (c) conducting intercalation or delamination with the mixture from the step (b) at 180deg.C and under atmospheric pressure.

CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a carbon nanotube-adsorbed glass fiber comprises the steps of removing the impurities of a multi-walled carbon nanotube by purification; dispersing the purified carbon nanotube in an aqueous solution, an alcohol and other organic solvent to prepare a dispersion; and adsorbing the carbon nanotube on the surface of a glass fiber by infiltration. The purification is carried out by using a mixture of sulfuric acid and nitric acid in a ratio of 3:1.

摘要: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing bisphenol-F is provided to shorten degassing time compared to a conventional single de-aerating process, and to suppress the decomposition of bisphenol-F, thereby preparing the bisphenol-F with a high purity. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing bisphenol-F including two-step degassing process comprises: a main reaction step, a room-temperature dehydration step, a primary vacuum de-aeration step, a reactor transfer step, and a second vacuum de-aeration step. The main reaction step adds formalin to phenol 80-90 weight%, the water 15-5 weight%, formalin 5-10 weight% and a trace amount of catalyst. The room-temperature dehydration step, primary vacuum de-aeration step, and second vacuum de-aeration step are respectively performed at 100-140 °C, 140-160 °C, and 150-200 °C.

The composition has preferably 50-100 cps of viscosity and 20-90 deg.C of glass-transition temperature.
