Abstract: The invention relates to a fuel tank of thermoplastic polymer for a motor vehicle, having at least one reinforcing element inside the fuel tank, the reinforcing element inside the fuel tank extending between opposing tank walls (15), parts of the rein -forcing element passing through the tank wall and parts of the reinforcing element engaging behind the tank wall from outside, the fuel tank being distinguished according to the invention in that the reinforcing element (8) is provided with at least one multipart fastening head (11), which comprises a first closing means engaging through the tank wall (15) from inside and a second closing means engaging through the tank wall (15) from outside, which closing means are of mutually complementary construction.

Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a sealed vessel in which its laser-welded portion has structure with no flange formed thereon to ensure that the vessel hardly allows liquid dripping at the drinking mouth giving a good contact feel to the lips, and another object is to eliminate the needs for polymer material and for surplus material at the wind-tightening portion. Further, it is also an object to construct the lid and barrel of the vessel by using the same material, thereby facilitating the recycling of material. The sealed vessel of the invention includes a vessel main body (1) having an opening (9) and sealed by a lid (3) closing the opening, the sealed vessel being characterized by having welded portions (4, 14) at which the outer wall surface of the peripheral edge portion (2) of the opening or the end surface (12) of the opening, and the inner wall surface of the lid are laser-welded in such a manner that, of the inner walls of the vessel main body, at least the inner wall surface (6) of the peripheral edge of the opening is allowed to contact the contents of the vessel. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
