    Abstract: Disclosed are a light receiving device having a transparent electrode and a method for manufacturing the same. According to a preferable embodiment of the present invention, the transparent electrode is formed to be in contact with a photoelectric conversion layer which generates electrical energy by absorbing light, and the transparent electrode is made of a resistance change material, wherein the resistance change material has high transmittance for the entire range of light, and conductive filaments through which current can flow are formed in the resistance change material to change a resistance state of the material from a high resistance state to a low resistance state when a voltage exceeding a threshold voltage unique to the material is applied. Therefore, since the transparent electrode according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention has high electrical conductivity characteristics as well as high light transmittance characteristics in the entire wavelength range of light, the light receiving device of the present invention can have high electrical characteristics as well as high photoelectric conversion efficiency.
