摘要： In a color photographic material positive color images are produced by the dye diffusion transfer process. The reversal is brought about by the silver salt diffusion process. The lightsensitive element contains up to three separate color units each unit comprising a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and an associated nuclear layer containing development nuclei and a non-diffusible dye-giving compound capable of releasing a diffusible dye after on oxidative condensation with developer compound. The light-sensitive silver halide emulsion contains a non-diffusible silver halide developer. The nuclear layer contains a non-diffusible developer compound capable of being oxidatively condensed with the dye-giving compound to release the diffusible dye. Development is carried out in the presence of catalytic amounts of a diffusible auxiliary developer. The imagewise distribution of liberated diffusible dye is transferred to an image receptor layer.

摘要： Apparatus for removing backing strips and exposed films from drop-in cassettes wherein the window for the foremost unexposed film frame is located in front of an opening for observation of symbols on the backing strip has a pusher which is movable through the opening to expel the leader of the backing strip through the window and into the nip of two first advancing rollers which introduce the leader into a first channel for entry into a collecting receptacle. The leader of exposed film is stripped off the backing strip by a deflector and enters a second channel to advance into the nip of two second advancing rollers and to be transported to a splicing station for connection to the trailing end of the preceding film. The pusher can enter a circumferential groove of one first advancing roll and the other first advancing roll has a shallower groove for a finger which directs the leader of the backing strip into the first channel.

摘要： Sheets which issue from the discharge slot of a copying machine with their imprinted sides facing upwardly are inverted prior to descending into a tray. The inverting mechanism employs a wheel having rearwardly inclined blades extending into the path of movement of leaders of successive sheets whereby the leaders rotate the wheel while the trailing ends of the sheets are being advanced by rolls in the housing of the copying machine. This causes a looping of sheets and an automatic inversion as soon as the trailing ends leave the discharge slot. The wheel is braked so that it rotates only while a blade engages with the leader of a sheet. A stop at the lowermost point of the wheel intercepts the leader so that the looping of the sheet becomes more pronounced as the trailing end continues to issue from the slot while the leader bears against the stop.

摘要： A slide projector wherein the housing defines an annular chamber surrounding a hollow inverted cup-shaped housing section and serving to receive a ring-shaped magazine which is centered by the cup-shaped section. The cylindrical wall of the section has a vertical slot and the section shields and normally receives one arm of a slide changing mechanism which can be moved radially of a properly inserted magazine along a horizontal path to thereby pass through the slot and expel a photographic transparency from that compartment of the magazine which registers with the slot. Such transparency is caused to enter a slide gate which is located between the projector lens and the projection lamp.
