摘要： A method, apparatus, and system in which a neutral deriving transformer incorporates a zig-zag transformer configuration is provided. A zig-zag transformer provides an electrical load with a neutral wire. The zig-zag transformer may be electrically connected downstream of a main AC voltage step-down transformer. Additionally, three phase AC voltage lines can be routed to the zig-zag transformer such that the zig-zag transformer comprises a neutral deriving transformer that electrically connects to a ground conductor. The neutral deriving transformer might not be electrically connected to a neutral conductor of the main voltage step-down transformer. The zig-zag transformer can phase shift each winding by approximately 120 degrees and may derive a neutral for at least one single phase load connected to the zig-zag transformer and one of the three phase AC lines in order to provide a common neutral point that takes the place of a neutral cable that connects back to the main AC voltage step-down transformer.

摘要： A method for processing an incoming command destined for a target is provided, comprising: determining if the incoming command is a data command or a management command; forwarding the incoming command to a storage management component of the target when the incoming command is a management command; when the incoming command is a data command: determining if a disk command queue on the target is full; sending the incoming command to the disk command queue when the disk command queue is not full; when the disk command queue is full: starting a timer, the timer having a predetermined length; sending the incoming command to the disk command queue when the disk command queue becomes not full prior to the expiration of the timer; and sending a rejection of the incoming command to the host only if, upon expiration of the timer, if the disk command queue is still full.

摘要： In a first embodiment of the present invention, a method for operating a device having a device reference clock, in a system including a host with a host reference clock is provided, the method comprising: beginning a link negotiation stage between the device and the host using the device reference clock; during the link negotiation stage, sampling data received from the host to determine a frequency offset of the host reference clock; applying the frequency offset to the device reference clock to create a corrected device reference clock; and completing the link negotiation stage using the corrected device reference clock. This completing may include either continuing the original link negotiation stage or restarting it.

摘要： An improved linear motor which compensates for manufacturing or assembly errors in the positioning of the magnetic field detectors. The linear motor synthesizes a correction signal which can be simply combined (for example added) to the output of one of the magnetic field detectors so as to ensure that the magnetic field detector outputs have the correct phase relationship. This in turn ensures that accurate positioning of the rotor relative to the stator can be achieved. In a preferred embodiment, a deliberate error is introduced into the positioning of the magnetic field detectors and this error, plus any error due to manufacturing or assembly tolerances, is corrected using the correction signal. This allows a simplified correction circuit which only corrects for phase offset errors in one direction to be used.

A clutch is operable to inhibit the transfer of torque from the motor to the engine when the engine speed is less than a predetermined engine speed without disconnecting the output shaft from the drive shaft. A tiller arm includes a speed control. The speed control is operable to control the engine speed and to control the motor speed.
