摘要: A wind turbine tower cleaning or coating apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a frame which circumferentially extends at least partially around a wind turbine tower. A separator structure can be attached to the frame and extends between the frame and the wind turbine tower to position the frame at a predetermined distance away from the wind turbine tower. The separator structure can also include an attachment end which is attached to the frame and a slidabe end positionable near the wind turbine tower. A slider can be attached to the slidabe end of the separator structure and can slide on the surface of the wind turbine tower as the frame is raised and lowered on the wind turbine tower. A frame lift device can raise and lower the frame on the wind turbine tower. A plurality of sprayers can be positioned circumferentially along the frame and configured to selectively spray fluid onto the wind turbine tower. In one embodiment, a hoist device is attached to the frame to hoist the wind turbine cleaning or coating device vertically up and down the wind turbine tower.

摘要: A cleaning apparatus suitable for cleaning a horizontally curved metal tower can include a fluid directing channel configured to receive pressurized fluid from a fluid source; a slider or wheel positioned to contact and vertically traverse the horizontally curved metal tower; and a standoff which separates the fluid directing channel spatially from the slider or wheel. The apparatus can also include sprayer nozzles fluidly coupled to the fluid directing channel which can be directed toward or beyond the slider or wheel. A magnet can also be positioned on the apparatus that is configured to interact magnetically to pull the cleaning apparatus toward the horizontally curved metal tower, but the magnet is not close enough to touch the horizontally curved metal tower when the slider or wheel is in contact with the horizontally curved metal tower.

The wind turbine blade treatment apparatus further comprises a sprayer connected to the support, configured to spray fluid onto the wind turbine blade.

摘要: A method of implanting a surgically implantable band, the method comprising the steps of providing a band with an elongated body member having a first end with a first latching member positioned thereon, and a second end with a second latching member positioned thereon. The first latching member has a suture tab extender extending therefrom. The suture tab extender has a suture attached thereto. The second end has a gripping section positioned thereon shaped and dimensioned to facilitate gripping as the gastric band extender is passed through the second latching member. The method further includes the step of positioning the band around an anatomical structure and latching the band around the structure by placing the suture tab extender through the second latching member and thereafter coupling the first and second latching members. The method further involves the step of removing the suture tab extender from the band.

摘要: An implantable restriction device is configured to provide a restriction in a patient as a function of the pressure of fluid. The implantable restriction device includes one or more pressure sensors configured to sense pressure of the fluid within the implantable restriction device. Pressure data obtained by the one or more pressure sensors may be communicated to a device located external to the patient, such as a data logger, using telemetry coils or other communicators. The data logger may store the pressure data, and may communicate the pressure data to a remote location via a network such as the Internet. A docking station may be provided to couple the data logger to a network and/or to recharge a cell in the data logger.

摘要: A car wash spray device can include a fluid inlet to receive a pressurized fluid from a fluid source. The car wash spray device can also include a first spray nozzle, and a first pressure-sensitive valve in fluid communication with the fluid inlet and the first spray nozzle. The first pressure-sensitive valve can be configured to allow flow of the pressurized fluid therethrough at or below a first pressure. The car wash spray device can further include a second spray nozzle, and a second pressure-sensitive valve in fluid communication with the fluid inlet and the second spray nozzle. The second pressure-sensitive valve can be configured to allow flow of the pressurized fluid therethrough at or above a second pressure.
