Abstract: Embodiments of the present technology are directed to systems and methods for measuring projectile muzzle velocity. A muzzle velocity sensor measures an acceleration as well as a set of events occurring within the barrel of the firearm upon a shot being fired. Using the measured data, a muzzle velocity is calculated. The muzzle velocity sensor is used externally to the firearm, requiring no changes to the firearm or the projectile.

Abstract: A Plasma Video Scoreboard is an assembly of multiple plasma video display units to create one or multiple images, larger in surface area than any single plasma video display on the market, and is assembled with the intended capability to simultaneously displays live and pre-recorded video, advertising, player information, sports statistics, time clocks, and score for sports events. A Plasma Video Scoreboard is a melding of plasma video display technology with the conventional structure of a scoreboard.

Abstract: An image sensor includes a pixel array and an image sensor objective optical element. The element is formed by a lenslet array. Each lenslet in the array directs incoming radiation onto a different specific pixel or sub-array of pixels in the pixel array. The lenslets in the array are shaped such that fields of view of next-but-one neighboring ones of the lenslets (i.e., two lenslets spaced from each other by another lenslet) do not overlap until a certain object distance away from the lenslet array.

Abstract: A post attachment device for connecting a helmet to a head and neck support. The device includes a post anchor having a base, a button, a resilient member, a post, a retainer and a catch having a slot with a larger first section connected by a channel to a smaller second section. The button is positioned in an indention in the base with the resilient member positioned therebetween. The post extends through the button, the base and the helmet. The retainer is secured on the post adjacent the inner surface of the helmet. To secure the post attachment device, the catch is orientated over the post. The button is then pressed into the base while the catch is moved backwards to move the post into the second section of the slot.

Abstract: Compositions and methods for the identification, prognosis, classification, diagnosis, and treatment of leukemia or a genetic predisposition to leukemia are provided. The present invention is based on the discovery of a novel intragenic deletion in the v-ets erythroblastosis virus E26 oncogene homolog (ERG) allele which is shown herein to be associated with a novel subtype of B-progenitor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). In one embodiment, the intragenic deletion in ERG results in the expression of C-terminal domain deletion forms of the ERG polypeptide which lacks the DNA-binding PNT domain and CAE domain of the ERG polypeptide and have dominant negative ERG activity. In other embodiments, the intragenic deletions results in a loss of expression of the native ERG polypeptide. Such nucleotide sequences and amino acid sequences of ERG find use in methods and compositions useful in the identification and/or the prognosis and/or predisposition and/or treatment of ALL, more particularly, the novel subtype of B-progenitor AL.

Abstract: Compositions and methods for the identification, prognosis, classification, treatment, and diagnosis of leukemia or a genetic predisposition to leukemia are provided. The present invention is based on the discovery of various genomic abnormalities of the IKZFl gene which are shown herein to be associated with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), more particularly, associated with BCR-ABL1 positive ALL and/or shown to be associated with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), more particularly, associated with blast crisis chronic myeloid leukemia (BC-CML) and/or the likelihood of progression into blastic transformation of CML. These various genomic abnormalities of the IKZFl gene can further be used as prognostic markers to identify a subgroup of ALL having very poor outcomes. Such genomic abnormalities of IKZFl find use in methods and compositions useful in the identification and/or prognosis and/or predisposition and/or treatment of ALL, more particularly, BCR-ABL1 positive ALL and/or in the identification and/or prognosis and/or predisposition and/or treatment of CML, more particularly, of BC-CML and/or the likelihood of progression into blastic transformation of CML and/or as prognostic markers to identify a subgroup of ALL having very poor outcomes.
