A method and an apparatus for efficiently enlarging an image, where the outermost Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) components from a DC value are regarded as high frequency components in DCT components expressed in one two-dimensional coordinate system, the edge signals of an image are restored by means of only the high frequency components, and then a binary edge mask, which represents the distribution of high frequency components within the image, is generated from the restored edge signals. Accordingly, an interpolation order can be determined based on the binary edge mask and interpolation can be performed. A higher order low pass filter is applied to an area having many high frequency signal components, so that it is possible to output more precisely enlarged image signals. In this way, that it is possible to improve the overall picture quality of an enlarged image, and to properly adjust the amount of calculation and buffer capacity, which are used when interpolation is performed.

Further the present invention comprises a support constructed vertically; a vertical moving table which is capable of moving upward and downward connected with a proper position of the support; a moving device for moving said vertical moving table upward and downward; a horizontal moving table which is capable of moving horizontally placed on the vertical moving table; a horizontal moving bar which is capable of moving horizontally placed on the vertical moving table; and a driving device for driving the horizontal moving table and the horizontal moving bar horizontally.

The rear door system of the present invention includes a rear door, which is provided to a rear wall of the hot cell so as to be movable to open or close the rear wall of the hot cell, and a vertical moving table, which is provided at a predetermined position on the lower portion of the front surface of the rear door so as to be movable upwards or downwards. The rear door system further includes a drive unit, which is provided at a predetermined position in the lower end of the rear door to move the rear door, and a stationary working table, which is disposed above the vertical moving table and is fixed in the hot cell in a horizontal orientation. The rear door system further includes a removable table, which is removably coupled at a predetermined position to the stationary working table, and a hot cell crane hook and a service area crane hook, which are respectively provided inside and outside the hot cell.
