摘要： An oil-in-water emulsion of at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of(A) an ethylene/alpha-olefin random copolymer having(1) an ethylene content of 30 to 70 moles %,(2) a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 500 to 10,000, and(3) a weight average molecular weight (Mw) to number average molecular weight (Mn) ratio (Q=Mw/Mn), of 3 at most, and(4) being liquid at ordinary temperatures, and(B) a graft-modified ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer(1') comprising said ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer having the characteristics (1) to (4) as a trunk polymer, and(2') at least one grafted unit selected from a unit derived from an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its acid anhydride and a unit resulting from neutralization of at least a part of said unit with an alkali, and(3') being liquid or semisolid at ordinary temperatures.

摘要： A printed image inspection apparatus comprises an image reading section that irradiates a printed image being inspected with two types of light having different dominant wavelengths and reads images from the reflections of the two types of light, a judgment section that compares the images read by the image reading section with reference images stored in advance and judges the agreement between both, and an operation control section that control the operation of the image reading section and the judgment section. The image reading section comprises a first light source outputting blue light having a low reflectance with respect to yellow, magenta and black inks, and a second light source outputting yellow light having a low reflectance with respect to cyan, magenta and black inks.

摘要： An address label preparation processing system for printed matter dispatching, having counter/stackers for preparing printed matter bundles upon receipt of the data on the number of copies per bundle from an address label processing devices, having an address label printing function, for printing on-line address labels for the bundles prepared, and attaching the printed address labels on the bundles as the bundles prepared by the counter/stacker and transported by a conveyor arrive at the system, and characterized in that each of the address label processing devices incorporates therein type fonts and a character enlarging function and has such a construction that address labels can be printed on the basis of the address printing data transmitted from a host computer; the host computer performing control so that the address printing data and the data on the number of copies are allocated sequentially among each of the address label processing devices; the counter/stacker receiving the number of copies per bundle and the serial number of bundles and transferring bundles to the conveyor; and the address label processing devices correlating the address labels printed and prepared with the bundles for dispatching.

摘要： A spray-type dampening water supply apparatus having a spray whose nozzles are protected against adhesion of any foreign matter to the nozzle surfaces and in which at least orifices of the nozzles can be easily cleaned out. Each nozzle of the spray has a guide surface slanting from an upstream outer peripheral edge toward a downstream central orifice. A partition of the spray is disposed downstream of the nozzle assembly and has a plurality of apertures confronting the respective nozzles. The spray is equipped with means for opening and closing the apertures of the partition.
