Abstract:
The two-stroke engine has a plurality of intake passages extending from the external air inlet port through the crankcase, separating the intake air charge from the air and oil vapor within the crankcase. The piston has one or more corresponding inlet tubes depending therefrom that telescope within the crankcase intake passages as the piston reciprocates. All intake air travels through these passages and is separated from the remainder of the crankcase volume. The incoming air charge passes through a concentric poppet valve in the piston crown to enter the combustion chamber. Fuel is provided by conventional direct or port injection and ignition is provided by one or more conventional spark plugs. Diesel operation is achievable when the engine is configured appropriately. Exhaust exits the combustion chamber through a poppet valve in the cylinder head, the poppet valve being actuated by a rocker arm and pushrod from a crankshaft driven cam.

In various embodiments of the present invention, documents (eg, PDFs) are converted into HTML 5 (and CSS 3) formats and integrated into existing HTML 5 web pages to preserve the original embedded fonts. The fonts can also be integrated or embedded (e.g., via the standard HTML “iframe” tag) into other web pages. The original appearance of the source document is maintained, the text is preserved as searchable text, and the document is integrated into a web page that can be searched, zoomed, scrolled, and printed utilizing standard web browser controls. A significantly increased “ad inventory” is thereby enabled, wherein advertisements can be integrated between pages, or even within a page. Moreover, the resulting document can be passively shared with members of a user's external social networks (including those within the host website), along with other activities and behaviors performed by the user on the hosting website.
Abstract:
A gas channeling cylinder head assembly for fixed attachment to a cylinder, the cylinder having a slidably mounted piston, the piston being cyclically moveable, the assembly incorporating a plenum having a first port, a second port, and a third port, the first port, upon the fixed attachment, communicating with the cylinder; a poppet valve; a solenoid actuator connected operatively to the poppet valve for alternatingly seating and unseating the poppet value at the first port, the solenoid actuator seating and unseating the poppet valve; and a check valve connected operatively to the plenum, the check valve being adapted for alternatingly permitting and resisting inward and outward flows of the gas through the second port; the check valve incorporating a vane which is adapted for movement between flow permitting and flow resisting positions, the vane being positioned for, upon movement to the flow permitting position, directing flows of the gas toward the first port; the assembly further incorporating a second check valve connected operatively to the plenum, the second check valve being adapted for alternatingly permitting and resisting outward and inward flows of the gas through the third port.
Abstract:
A motor and a method of operating the motor are described. The motor may have a female rotor shaft having mounted thereon a female compression rotor, a female power rotor, and a spur gear. The motor may also have a male rotor shaft having mounted thereon a male compression rotor, a male power rotor and a power rotor gear. A housing containing the foregoing may have a front housing plate, a compression rotor case, an isolator plate, a power rotor case, a rear housing plate, and a gear cover adjacent the rear housing plate. The various female and male rotors are engaged with one another within the housing.
Abstract:
A retaining device for an EMF-generating device includes a first surface or opening which is transparent to the EMF of the EMF-generating device, and a second surface which is at least partially opaque to the EMF generated by the EMF-generating device. The device can be installed such that the second surface is oriented towards an individual or pet while the first surface faces away.

As a result, a significantly increased “ad inventory” is enabled, wherein advertisements can be integrated between the individual pages (or even within a page) of the document. In addition, the resulting document (independent of its format) can be passively shared with desired members of a user's external social networks (as well as any social network within the host website), along with other activities and behavior performed by the user on the website hosting the document.

Abstract:
An antenna and method for using the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, an antenna comprises a radial waveguide; an aperture operable to radiate radio frequency (RF) signals in response to an RF feed wave fed by the radial waveguide; and a radio frequency (RF) choke operable to block RF energy from exiting through a gap between outer portions of the waveguide and the aperture.
