A wrapping device comprising at least a circular track structure which forms a closed track, and a film feeding device which is arranged to circulate along said track and to feed a film around a piece to be wrapped, wherein the film feeding device comprises a frame structure which is provided with at least means for fixing a film roll in said frame structure in a rotatable manner, and feeding means, through which the film is arranged to be fed at a desired film tension. Said frame structure can be disconnected from and reconnected to the film feeding device for the change of the film roll, and for the change of the film roll, the wrapping device also comprises an automatic change system for the change of said frame structure. Said frame structure is an integrated unit which can be independently disconnected from and reconnected to the film feeding device. The carriage device of the wrapping device is intended to carry along the film feeding device, and it comprises several carriages placed one after the other and coupled to each other, wherein at least one said frame structure is placed or can be placed in one or more carriages.

The present invention relates to an arrangement for handling one or more tyres simultaneously in storage shelving of a high bay warehouse, where the tyres are brought in and stored and from where the tyres are taken. The arrangement according to the invention comprises a shelving track and a load handling device arranged to move along the shelving track, which load handling device comprises a horizontal longitudinal picking bar having a first end and a second end and which longitudinal picking bar is arranged to handle one or more tyres simultaneously in an axial direction of the tyres when the tyres stand in upright position one after the other so that the longitudinal picking bar is arrangeable to the centre of the tyre, and a rear support arranged to the longitudinal picking bar. The present invention also relates to a method for handling tyres and a high bay warehouse.

Disclosed is a multi-level container storage system including a storage module including racks for storing containers, and a high-bay container storage. At least two tracks arranged in a first distance from each other in the vertical direction. The system includes a container handling apparatus capable of moving at least one container in three directions. The container handling apparatus includes a stacker crane including a carrier support for a carrier device of the container handling apparatus. The carrier device includes a handling mechanism for gripping, lifting, lowering, and releasing at least one container and is arranged to be moved out of and into the stacker crane, and into and out of the storage module, respectively, along one of the tracks of a rack, wherein the handling mechanism is arranged to move at least one container at most the first distance.

Method for holding in its place a separate piece placed against a side surface of a basic piece, wherein an air jet is directed to the separate piece and under this influence the separate piece is pressed against the end. Means for producing the air jets are placed for example in a stationary position or the basic piece is conveyed by a transfer carriage to which the means for producing the air jets are placed and arranged to hold at least one separate piece in its place. Alternatively, the basic piece is transferred by means of a conveyor or a transfer carriage and the means for producing the air jets are placed along this route in a stationary position and are arranged to hold in its place at least one separate piece that moves along the basic piece.

The invention relates to an arrangement for picking and sorting products in a warehouse, which arrangement comprises a main body (400) arranged to move in at least one direction, at least a first load handling unit (401) and a second load handling unit (402), arranged adjacent to each other in the main body for positioning the products to a storage position (201, 202; 203; 204) and removing the products from a storage position, means for producing location information of the products in the storage position, and a control unit for controlling the movements of the main body and the load handling units, based on the location information, for sorting the products to storage positions by type of products. The invention also relates to method for picking and sorting products in a warehouse.

The film feeding device also comprises a mechanism which is arranged to disconnect and reconnect said contact, wherein said mechanism is controlled either on the basis of the film tension or on the basis of the location of the film feeding device on said track, or on the basis of them both.
