The system includes a plurality of ducts or wind tunnels each of which accommodates a plurality of rotary fans which are connected to a corresponding one of a plurality of alternators. A pulling fan and a motor connected to the pulling fan are provided to pull and move the wind throughout the ducts.

    摘要: Exemplary embodiments of a virtual reality surgical training simulator may be described. A virtual reality surgical training simulator may have a rendering engine, a physics engine, a metrics engine, a graphical user interface, and a human machine interface. The rendering engine can display a three-dimensional representation of a surgical site containing visual models of organs and surgical tools located at the surgical site. The physics engine can perform a variety of calculations in real time to represent realistic motions of the tools, organs, and anatomical environment. A graphical user interface can be present to allow a user to control a simulation. Finally, a metrics engine may be present to evaluate user performance and skill based on a variety of parameters that can be tracked during a simulation.

    摘要: A rocker molding for attachment to a rocker panel of a vehicle includes a rocker garnish with an arcuate cross section. A garnish shelf extends from an upper edge of the rocker garnish such that the garnish shelf is substantially perpendicular to the rocker garnish. A riser portion extends from an inboard edge of the garnish shelf in a substantially vertical direction. A cap shelf extends from a top edge of the riser portion in an inboard direction. When the rocker molding is installed on the rocker panel of the vehicle, the garnish shelf extends from the rocker panel in an outboard direction, the riser portion is substantially flush with a skin of a vehicle door when the door is in a closed position, and a bottom edge of the vehicle door is spaced apart from the garnish shelf by at least a height H of the riser portion.

    摘要: The present invention provides an anastomosis device which includes an elongate center pin having proximal and distal ends. The proximal end is configured to be graspable using a grasping tool. A grip mechanism is located at the distal end for crimping a suture. The device includes an outer sleeve having a passageway therethrough to receive therein the elongate center pin. A suture having a suture needle is attached to a first end of the center pin and a second end of the suture is formed into a pre-formed knot mounted on the sleeve. The device includes a suture release mechanism having a passageway extending therethrough to receive the outer sleeve therein. The suture release mechanism slides along the sleeve between a first position in which the suture release mechanism is spaced from the distal end and a second position such that movement of the suture release mechanism from the first position to the second position dislodges the pre-formed knot off the sleeve. A free end of the suture, which was attached to a suture needle but cut lose after the suture has been passed through the tissue being sutured, is crimped by the crimp mechanism. The pre-formed knot is dislodged such that the crimped end of the suture is located within the pre-formed knot and pulling the suture through the knot tightens the pre-formed knot on the suture.
